My mother bet on 4 horses, they came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Don't know how she does it, I don't remember the last time she lost money on the national. Don't know how much she won (4 figures anyway), but I'm getting a piece of the action! As a student with zero (or perhaps even fewer) job prospects this summer, this is good.
