WWE had him a few years ago as Scotty Goldman but it didn't work out

With regards to tonight, the son (Reid) and daughter (Ashley) of Ric Flair have recently been signed to develpomental deals with the company, that being said there is a legal issue between TNA and WWE that signing Ric Flair at the present time could weaken the WWE claim.

I just hope there is some good wrestling and not to much 'sports entertainment', doubt it though.

Apparently they have forgot to renew the trademark for the letters "ECW" and some random guy has put in an application for the rights. I;m not sure but it sounds like they could get it back anyway and even if they don't the letters are pretty much worthless these days considering the amount of reunion and indy shows that have happened under the ECW umbrella and drew ****.

They didn't really give him a chance though. Same with Bryan Danielson the first time around.

Given they are currently recruiting talented indie talent like Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC and Sara Del Rey I honestly can't see why they haven't signed him up again - he is better than the aforementioned on the microphone and I would say as good (if not better) in ring as well. Not to mention he has friends to put a good word in for him.

As for ECW I honestly wouldn't want to see it return, the original was great the WWE version was not, but it's time has past. I have noticed reputable wrestling merchandise selling original ECW DVD's unavailable for years, so something must be going on over the name.

I'm sure there was some reason why Cabana left the first time, possibly just because he didn't enjoy working the schedule and was happier on the indies.

Yeah i agree about ECW, it was good at the time and some of it still deserves the accolades it gets but it folded 11 years ago and really should be left to die respectfully, its just not relevant to wrestling in 2012, but while there is money to be made it never will. Not that there's much money to be made these days it seems.

Tommy Dreamer started up his "House of Hardcore" promotion and i don't think that done very well.

Just re-watched Raw 1000. It was good. It just needed something else to tip it onto amazon for me.

Good bits
------------
Lita looked bloody good. Amazing Baps.
Punk going heel again can only be good.
Proper old school DX was good.
DAMN
Kane and Undertaker together...is that permanent? Ace if so!!
The Rock is ace
Stephanie has aged suprisingly well!

Not so good bits
------------------
As hot as Lita looked I was after a bit of a better legend there.
AJ as GM? Not sold on that.
Not enough Ziggler or Jericho
Why are they building up a Charlie Sheen D Bryan feud?!
Bryan was annoying throughout actually.
Why are they building up for the Royal Rumble now?!

Mainly good bits though.

Yeah,i am just about to watch it now,but i am not sold on AJ as the GM at all after reading eveything before work earlier this morning,I know she has been good as a heel etc but a big massive no as the gm for me,unless it will change for some reason in a week or so
