GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I'm really looking forward to the Rumble, even though it will probably be a massive anticlimax.

Gonna stay up to watch it and be knackered for work because I'm a big kid.

I want shenanigans and lots of them.

Bullet Club *taps nose

Nah think they'll be a little later.

I'm like you. Looking forward to it meaning it will probably be awful.

They wouldn't let Reigns win would they?!

That's the danger. That's probably the worst case scenario.

Brock would be too obvious. He needs to be screwed over to set up a wrestlemania feud.

I can't see them putting the belt on anyone else tho.

I'd be surprised....think they will set up a few Mania main events at the Rumble....

Reigns vs HHH for Mania seems a lock in....if that's gonna be a title match at Mania, then really HHH has to win the Rumble...if they decide Reigns vs HHH doesn't need to be for the title, HHH will still screw reigns out of the Rumble.....that leaves the title going to lesnar or another (possibly Bryan), with Bryan vs Lesnar for the title match at Mania....of course the fantasy booking would be Number 30 being the Rock, wins the Rumble, and fights lesnar at Mania.....if there's no Rock or Bryan at the Rumble.....then my outside bet is the Undertaker (would be a big surprise, and if Mania was to be his retirement match, a title match main event against Lesnar is a pretty good way to go out)....honestly don't think any one else is over enough to headline the biggest Wrestlemania ever...

Be cool to see the Bullet club debut at the Rumble too and set up a feud with the Wyatts for Mania...

I know he has movie commitments, but wouldn't rule it out....with Cena, Rollins & Orton out (and Austin & HBK not interested in ever wrestling again), Vince really needs to pull something out of his hat to build a buzz towards Wrestlemania (and fill that stadium).....Rock vs Brock solves everything

oooooo i just had a bazinga moment

what if the undertaker returns to the rumble and wins the title 1 last time to commemorate his 25th anniversary year !!!

the only problem with that theory is if he goes to wrestlemania as the champion which would be a massive draw and no doubt sell loads of tickets, they can't make him lose again at wrestlemania surely unless...they do a brock lesnar trick and make it a triple threat and make sure he isn't the one that is pinned.

If Taker decides Mania this year is his final match, he will lose clean...he's old school and will happily 'pass the torch' on his way out (whoever his opponent ends up being)...

The Rock wouldn't be able hang with Brock.

Rock can still go.....and Lesnar can have a great match with anyone he's that good...this would have a big match feel, and the crowd would be electric for it...Hogan couldn't hang with the Rock years ago, didn't matter, the crowd was red hot and the match became a classic...

Triple H for me.

There's a fair chance....I really hope not though...Reigns challenging HHH for the title a mania is as about unexciting and predictable as it comes....

The current Reigns vs the McMahons angle doesn't even work for me....it's basically a reboot of Austin vs McMahon (and Bryan vs The Authority).....except there's no reason for The McMahon's to not want Reigns as their champion....Austin was a rebel, anti-authority, the anti-Hogan, wasn't a pretty boy, was a muscle guy.....it made perfect sense that corporate Vince wouldn't want Austin as his champion....

Reigns is the ideal corporate champ, he's a poster boy......it's just lazy copycat booking that ultimately won't get Reigns where WWE want him to be...if they were gonna copy booking from the past, then Reigns as a corperate heel champ like the Rock was would have made more sense (and got Reigns over more)....

there are 4 options for the rumble, 3 of which are predictable as hell.

1. Reigns as number one lasts the whole match and retains the title. whatever happens in the match, its odds on it will happen so boring a predictable

2. Brock wins. again the very popular theory here, boring result and even more so that it shows how original WWe are and how much they bend over for him if he comes back and takes the title whenever he wants

3. HHH wins. all connected to reigns sure, but the least likeley of the three tbh. they can't shift him from authority to champion and then back again smoothly, either he is a wrestler or he is a peed off fella when he gets in the ring, can't blur them. So doubt this will happen.

Then there is the fourth option, one that would be the best idea out them all

4. PUT THE TITLE ON SOMEONE UNEXPECTED. swerve everyone, stick it on someone you aren't expecting to walk out the champ, someone new and exciting.

My personal picks are Bray Wyatt, Finn balor, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles or Samoa Joe. Hell stick it on Jericho if need be, and hopefully Taker as well is considered for this as it would be a great way for him to bow out.
