I'm always defending my obsession with professional wrestling. At the end of the day it's just a soap opera for blokes.

Imagine Kevin Webster and Ken Barlow settling their differences in a ring...with steel chairs. Barlow would lose. Battered.

Of course wrestling is fake, but so are action movies. I like them so I watch it and it's the same with wrestling, although I'm getting pissed off with characters like Daniel Bryan and Santino Marella.

Also I just don't seem to get the obsession over the Rock. I know I missed the attitude era, but He just doesn't do it for me. Hope Cena will get the win at Wrestlemania.

I'm not a fan of Bryan either. Think he's a bit crap. Santino however is important, as they don't have many comedy types left in it and be really is funny. The pop he got when he won US Title last night was great.

As for Rock. As you say you missed Attitude era where he was basically untouchable. But he is and always will be the main man. I think he'll beat Cena, it's in Miami, there'd be riots if he didn't.

However, I predict a Rock/Cena 2 and next years mania where Cena will win.

Cena is just so smarmy. Defo Kopite tendencies.

Most come from US Football backgrounds, basketball etc. Most of them can deadlift like decent weightlifters can.

Plus, the stunts they do require immense athleticism. They are stuntmen, yes, but a step up from a basic stuntman.

Basically they're stuntman athletes. Not just anyone can wrestle anymore; it's not like Giant Haystacks etc.

Thankfully that's not too much of an issue anymore. Well not in WWE.

WWE have what they call a ''Wellness Policy' where they test them regularly for drugs. Some still get caught though, but usually it's for smoking wacky backy rather than 'roids.

Not saying I'm a Cena fan, just don't get it with the Rock. If it was Stone Cold that Cena would be wrestling It would be a non contest. But as said, there's a large part missing in me following wrestling. Only started watching again about 3 years ago. Last Wrestlemania I watched before that, was when the Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan (still not happy with that result).

Missed the attitude era, but also the forming of the NWO. Would've loved to have seen that.
