Another thing on fans being upset with Daniel Bryan not winning the rumble....
Do people really want to see Bryan vs Lesnar?....
A small guy just back from a near career ending neck injury....getting suplexed over and over again, landing on his neck over and over again?......i'd find that abit uncomfortable to watch to be honest....

Nobody is upset with Daniel Bryan not winning the rumble - they are upset with Reigns being pushed to the moon at the contrary of fan wishes, the manner of how he won and the manner of elimination for guys who are more deserving in Ambrose, Ziggler and Wyatt, who were buried, as well as Bryan early.

I agree on the booking of the rumble, it was strange self inflicted company damage by Vince & HHH.....they made all their top young talent look weak at the expense of 2 dull has been wrestlers who the fans have no interest in.....instead of elevating the young guys ahead of WrestleMania they pretty much killed their entire midcard....the treatment of ziggler was particularly strange....even Reigns elimination of big show & Kane came when they started fighting amongst themselves and reigns attacked from behind...
As for the winner.....it had to be reigns....fans mightn't like it but he's the only one with the right look to be a credible opponent for Lesnar....and that's the key thing, the challenger is facing Lesnar....Ambrose is too small, in no world does he beat Lesnar....ziggler is too small....bryan is too small....and none of them are ready for the main event spot at mania (and neither is Wyatt)......
Is reigns ready?....hell no....but he looks like he could last in a fight with Lesnar, and that's why he's getting the spot........
Personally I think they should have pulled back Reigns for another year, turn him heel put him with heyman and groom him for the main event next year.....i'd have paid the rock whatever he wanted, and gone with Lesnar vs Rock this year....and keep the title on Lesnar for another year (no one should be beating him right now)...make the eventual title change mean something...
Funny thing with Reigns is....the injury has damaged his development and now it feels like he's being rushed into the top spot....but had he not got injured, I wonder if wwe could have kept Lesnar & reigns apart till Mania (was obvious from summerslam that they were building to this match)....
Disagree profoundly. Size means nothing. Lesnar has lost to Guerrero for the title in the past, fought Mysterio competitively and so on. It's WWE, not UFC. It's a place where underdog stories occur all the time - last year, Bryan beat two bodybuilders in Batista and HHH, as well as Orton, while injured.

One of the strangest thinsg about the booking of the rumble was that Wyatt was made to look incredible in the early part of it, but all that was undone when he got picked up and dropped over the top rope by 2 wastes of space.

I hear what you're saying....but....right now wwe are trying (and need) to create the next john Cena, not the next Eddie Guerrero.....eddie was a great wrestler, as is Bryan (ziggler, Rollins)...but was never the top dog in the company.....
WWE can't continue to wheel out undertaker for WrestleMania, or bring back former stars to headline....and Cena ain't getting any younger either....
They need a guy they can build the company around....and that guy has to have a certain look....reigns has it, Bryan doesn't....Bryan can be a good Eddie Guerrero, but he ain't Hulk Hogan....Ziggler could be a good Rey mysterio but he ain't The Rock, and ambrose ain't no Steve Austin....

Took the free trial of the WWE Network to watch some of the old stuff from late 80's early 90's, back when I used to watch as a kid (have only seen it VERY sporadically since then). For some reason put an episode of this NXT thing on, and it's actually pretty good, god help me
