Im not sure it was me you had this conversation with, i can understand WWE for example crushing the smaller independant organisations, especially with financial backing from skysports etc. Yes it does take away the serious nature of wrestling with its storylines, it is dramatised too.

Wrestling > Golf, Baseball, American Football. Simply because i prefer Wrestling.

However i would not say to remove the sports above just because i dont like them.
