GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Didn't think last night was that bad, only part I didn't like was the Rock coming out at the end, seemed completely unneeded and something just to end on a high.

I don't mind Reigns, but Ambrose is a far more interesting characte...Id also like to see Barrett and Ziggler pushed abit mor, Barretts career looks to have stopped at the moment

Shame we'll never get Lesnar/Rollins in a 1v1 or a Lesnar/Ziggler, the selling would be glorious.

Would have been much happier with anyone but Reigns last night. Far too early for him, next year would have been perfect and do Lesnar/Bryan this year for Mania as the ultimate underdog story.

Cena/Rusev for Mania is all but confirmed going off the Royal Rumble fallout last night too.

If they have any brains, they'll get Reigns to face Lesnar at Fastlane and just take the hit of it being a balls up.

I don't hate Reigns, but when The Rock is so obviously struggling with it then they've made a serious mistake.

They're doing Cena v Rusev at Fastlane which seems a little odd. Guess it means Rusev will win there due to some form of cheating/tomfoolery and then Cena will get the decisive win at Mania. Wonder if it'll be for the US Title?

How can they do that? The Rumble winner goes to Wrestlemania. I know everyone is hating on Reigns/his push, but you can't just change it.

On a side note, I know it's the "Road to Wrestlemania", but Fastlane is one of the worst names for a PPV ever. And I only say worst because I don't know enough to definitively call it the worst.

They could do it as it's all made up mate. They can make any story line do what they want. So for example, they could make Rollins and Reigns have a match with Reigns' mania match on the line.
Very much in the same way they add people to matches to make it a triple threat and so on.

It would be a brave move, but they ballsed up. So should admit it.

Goldberg isn't coming back ever. Despises Triple H.

It's been well known for many months that Roman Reigns was being groomed as John Cena's successor and that he would likely be main eventing WM31 and winning the title there. I mean it's not like it's been any kind of secret - the likes of Jim Ross were openly talking about it in his weekly blogs.

The problem is that Daniel Bryan came back from injury at the start of this month and is a far better wrestler and is far more popular than the very limited Reigns. And that Reigns promos over the last few months have been utterly embarrassing, with Vince scripting him to be Cena-lite.

There's no danger of WWE ever 'shoving Bryan down our throats'. What they are doing right now is 'shoving Reigns down our throats'. They flew The Rock in to make a cameo appearance at the end of the Rumble just to 'endorse' Reigns, basically begging the fans to accept him as a top guy, that he 'must be alright if the Rock likes him'. It just doesn't work. The fans don't want him as the top face, they want Daniel Bryan as the top face.

I admit that Reigns has been pushed early, but im trying to think back to John Cena Thuganomics, he came in done a few raps, got boosted to RAW to be a main eventer due to his popularity, i look at bryan now, he was great when he came in, now he has one yes movement and everyone thinks he should win everything. It will get to the point were a new guy will come in and be the next big thing and Bryan will overshadow him, much like Cena has done for years. We then end up full circle 10 years later nothing has changed.

The only thing i can think of is that in wwe greatest times, they had FACES not A FACE of the company, people still are to this very minute who was the face of the 90's/00's, was it Rock or Austin ? Was it Undertaker and his longetivity or would the rock be the rock if he never had possibly the greatest heel of all time in the Game generating so much heat ?

Not everyone thinks Bryan should win everything mate.

Just that he should be used correctly.
