GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

The main event was great. Ambrose vs Wyatt was ok.
Mia & Mizdow were very entertaining. The rest of the show wasn't very good.

Absolutely no way was this the 'best show of the year'. Rumble, Wrestlemania 30, Payback & Summerslam were all way better as shows.

Very interested in where they're going. Presumably Sting vs HHH will be a Wrestlemania 31 match.

The Main event was great, I was expecting it to go down to Cena v all 5 and then him overcoming the odds so was genuinely shocked when big show KO'd him. Made up for Ziggler, seems like they're finally showing faith in him, hope it lasts.

Was disappointed with Ambrose v Wyatt tbh, it was basically just a glorified promo for them to have a TLC match next month, what was the point in Ambrose getting that massive ladder out just to climb up and pose on it?

AJ & Brie... Enough said.

Mizdow winning the tag titles was great too. Hope he gets a big push out of this.

Agree with most of that. Hope it's not true about AJ leaving, she's really good imo. But with Paige, Alisha Fox and Natalya there, there's still some good talent there. Better than plenty of the men's matches (them, not the actual match).

Looks like Ziggler will get a big push now. That was his best performance I've seen imo, but wouldn't be surprised to see them waste it. Love the angle Mizdow is doing atm, but never been a big fan of his as a wrestler, so happy for them just to maintain the status quo for now. Can see there being a break up of the pair (when Mizdow either a: gets too popular for Miz; b: causes them to lose the titles with his "Stunt Man" antics, or; c: gets tired of Miz hogging the limelight and taking all the glory), and a singles match at Rumble maybe?

Ambrose v Wyatt was good, and given their characters, you would imagine it would be a build up to TLC, then a bigger (FCA, NHB etc) match at Rumble, just getting crazier and crazier.

Haha yh, maybe a bit over the top, but I've said before, she's been really good ever since the O2 Raw, playing a great heel and having the crowds eating out of her hand...

I think Paige is great, her matches with Emma on NXT were great too, Emma just has a stupid character. Paige v AJ has been the first divas feud I've been interested in in years, but they can't just keep milking it forever. I hope AJ's not leaving too and with her appearance on raw tonight it doesn't look that way.

Ambrose is the best thing going in WWE but the wyatt feud just lacked any real build. What were they fighting over? Im sure they've got a few great matches in them so hopefully TLC will produce one.
 
the thing with Sting on Survivor series though is that surely that was for cheap buys of the network, so inivertantly used Sting for a money making exercise?

By the looks of it, the anomynous GM is back and a token appearance from Bryan to go along with a token appearance from sting the night before and WWE has basically threw an entire show away for simply playing fan favouritism.


And of course, NO BROCK LESNAR! NO CHAMPION STILL. i was all up for the lesnar stay away thing and him make appearances like he did with the lead up to the second cena match but now it is ridiculous and considering that is the main event for the next PPV i think you wouldnt even remember it was unless you were reminded.

Which takes you onto killing momentum for the match. I nfact there is no momentum at all. Its been 2 months and no build up to cenas rematch so there is nothing to hype up right now when they do care to mention it. Seth Rollins has just had his momentum crushed and the whole money in the bank winner and face of the authority is now nothing and even if he does cash in on lesnar/cena there is no viable direction for him to go in anymore without the backing of HHH/steph/kane etc. Rusev has stalled again, unless swagger rematches and loses again (great idea?!) who is rusev going to face now that is higher profile than the big show? Talking about Big show, he is clearly been a waste these couple of months and mark henry as well, that feud lasted long and meant something eh?

So now leading into the final PPV of the year, who even cares about the matches? Wyatt v ambrose (already seen it), Lesnar vs Cena (seen it)

That's a lot to read.

Sting is a massive coup. And is there to sell the new game.

I'm still fine with Lesnar as champ to be honest. There was no place at Survivor Series for a (decent) title match anyway.

Things will be built again. And mistakes will be made. Just the way it is.
 
Think Raw was pretty rubbish considering some we have had,and we seem to be going as ever back to old story lines from the pass,IE Ryback,and now the Anonymous Raw General Manager,which for the record i like that ANON GM thing,but not the way they previoulsly ended theat storyline in the pass
 
Raw was terrible. Not really sure how they managed to fudge that up so bad, as a group of monkeys hitting typewriters could have followed up that Survivor Series better. It's not like they didn't have enough material to go on.

I think they're just so set in their ways, they've got their model and they stick to it.

And see no need to do things differently.

Which is understandable. They're the most succesful wrestling promotion of all time worldwide and they have no challengers to that throne.

Not that i don't think things could be done differently or better but they still do bloody well to be fair so they see no need to change.
