GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Seeing Raw this week. They really havent got a clue have they?

So after breaking up Wyatt and harper/rowan into individuals they have made harper the new IC champ as a means to promoting the authority. they have added rowan onto team cena for no reason whatsoever but to fill a gap and the actual decent one of the three is in a predictable storyline with another similar character.

Add the fact they have the authority injuring wrestlers each week. that clearly makes them worth being in charge doesnt it? best for business yet swagger sheamus and orton all written out for the time being.

Ryback being made a face again despite the obvious slight heel tendancies last week. Not going to go down well when he loses then is it? He is clearly not stone cold and nor will he be.

HHH finally getting involved this week which is again random as he hasnt for weeks before. He isnt in the match but now he clearly will be in some way.

Cena the perfect leader where when he loses, noone will care!

and the lack of a back up if authority if they are scheduled to lose considering they replaced vince as the on screen owners.


They missed a massive trick here. If they injured someone on the night of the PPV, perhaps Harper doing it they could have brought Randy in as a suprise last minute team member. He proceeds to win or at least take the team close to a win and then his shot to top face is complete. THEN he can be taken out on raw the following night for him to go and film his movie, leading to the scripted injury keeping him out, with enough time for him to return to the following;

seth vs reigns after the rumble to fill in time after reigns wins the rumble. Orton vs HHH / authority like last years story. Cena vs Rusev for his undefeated streak. Lesnar vs noone because that was a good idea to put the belt on him for marketing. Not even heyman is even on tv! Ambrose vs Ic champion , wyatt vs Us champion if not Rusev or better yet Bo Dallas and then the tags all thrown together.

I agree with everything you say. They're even hinting at splitting up Mizdow!!! There doesn't seem to be any logic to it all.

Their one saving grace is Seth Rollins. He's doing a hell of a job playing the snidey, cry arse heel. He's carrying the whole thing.

The problem with the tag teams i think is the lack of personalities. they are all novelty acts masquerading as a division. When they strike gold they dont know what to do. For example-

Mizdow- very enjoyable on screen. Their copy act is amusing, the whole premise is silly but it works because they both can wrestle and therefore sandow is not seen as a fall guy but can upstage the miz when the stroy commands it. thought it was great vs ziggler i think where miz told sandow to take his place who then won and miz celebrated as if he had.

Gold/star dust- Fantastic. gold dust is a legend and cody has been great adopting this role. long may they regn becuase they are the best tag team i have seen for a long time.

Los matadors- ridiculous. Clearly never going to hold the belts and noone really gets behind them. Just another silly vechicle for primo and his buddy to get air time on because they arent winning anyone over.

The Uso's- They are good but lack personality. the switching thing they do is great but normally a heel move so faces doing it is a bit odd. both talented and to be fair good as top of the division. Nothing compared to hardys though of their day.

Rybaxel- went nowhere. waste of characters.

Big Show/other big person- Terrible. Even having henry randomly turn on him and still no decent answer as to why other than give henry his 100th heel turn.

Shield- Other best tag team in years when they existed. Everything worked and in all credit they have suprisingly all came away with good directions for the time being.
 
Dolph is so clearly getting eliminated in about 90 seconds at Survivor Series

They'll bury him from now until forever

Personally, I'd have Team Cena down to 4-2, with only Cena and Ziggler left on Team Cena. I'd then have Cena and Rusev do a double count out, leaving Ziggler 3 on 1 with Kane, Rollins and Harper. I'd then have Ziggler pull off the upset and win the match

There's no way that will happen though

To be fair to them they seem to be really pushing Dolf as being the star that the fans think he is. having him win matches vs Kane and the like when he is expected to lose as well as promos increasing his exposure will stand him in good stead in the future. the only ones he lost were Harper where they had to do something with harper, and rollins because they cant have the prodegee lose.

It is such a shame they done away with the WWE title for Dolf to push to challenge for. used to be great when they had a champion who would defend the belt against all comers and be able to make stars of others. Maybe one day we will have a WWE champion again.
 
- Rusev should be pushed to the point were American's legitimately hate him, not just heel heat, sort of heat that the old anti americans used to get. Mikey's idea of Rusev vs Cena seems plausible.
- Wyatt's vs shield should of been extended, bray vs roman being the focal point.
- Orton could of been the man in the middle regarding the Authority/faces feud. Will he /wont he join Authority ?
- Mizdow, Uso's, Stardust could of been given the responsibility of owning the tag division, Mizdow being the E&C comedy duo. Stardust being a Dudleys type team, neither face or heel, Uso's being the crowd favourites like the hardys once were. Throw in Harper/Rowan, seth & ambrose as part timers inbetween the bray/roman feud.
- Build up a strong IC division were anyone could be the next champion, Ziggler, Sheamus, Bo Dallas could all be face challengers against the monsters like Henry, Big Show and Big E. More importance should be placed on Big Show and Henry putting Guys over.
Finally have a guy like Kane just walk around hitting everything that moves, eventually they will find a storyline that fits Kane were he can put somebody 'over' for the long term.

Finally Brock Lesnar can be used for Wrestlemania feuds such as the Rock, HHH, Batista etc etc.

Prefer Ziggler as an arrogant heel.

Why did they bother unifying the titles after Summerslam? If there was still 2 titles, at least they'd have a legitimate main event for the ppv's that Brock wasn't attending.

I am sure they have even forgot Brock is part of the company.

I mean he is not mentioned, doesnt show up for anything including house shows and the whole number one contender thing the other week has not been mentioned since.

I dont watch the actual wrestling that much, only the story lines. But Brays mannerisms in the ring and his finishers are actually good to watch

I agree... I think it's the creative that are burying him. If anything, they should have added a member to the Wyatt family to freshen it up. Instead, they disbanded it completely.

The "Sister Abigail" is a great finisher.
