GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

In fact, I'd go for this Wrestlemania card

WWE Unified Western Heritage World Championship
(C) Randy Orton Vs Daniel Bryan

Undertaker Vs John Cena

Brock Lesnar Vs Batista

Triple H Vs CM Punk

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins Vs Roman Reigns

Tag Titles
(C) Gold-Cody Vs Big Show and Rey Mysterio

Jack Swagger Vs Antonio Cesaro

It would be brilliant if Batista came back for Orton. Not sure what would happen to Cena but if he came back gunning for Orton and had him running scared for weeks then it would spice up the authority storyline quite a bit. Instead of smug heel orton, you would have vunerable and scared orton. If it led into Bryan beating him at Mania for the title then i am all for that.

Rarely been in the Ale House despite being on this place for years, glad to see a wrestling thread!

Re: Batista's return, it's just symbolic of WWE's poor ratings / WWE's obsession over ratings. Announce him so people watch, rather than what would have been a brilliant surprise. Yes, the Internet has its part to play but still.

Kinda, but its also basic wrestling booking : don't give something away as a surprise one week when you can make money by telling people its going to happen the week after.

And the better the ratings the more money they make, thats why they exist as a business.

Sure, sometimes you can have surprises on the show because that makes a better show which gets better ratings and so on but with someone like Batista its exactly the right thing to advertise him in advance.
