GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I did of course tweet them to make them aware.

We did get a mention on the App or website in relation to the Fandango craze supposedly sweeping Europe

The stuff with Cole, Bradshaw and Renee was for the JBL and Cole show on Youtube, they were also at the Huddersfield Giants to film stuff with Eorl Crabtree (Nephew of British wrestling legend Big Daddy and son of promoter Max Crabtree)

Had an amazing few days, first chance I've had to post. Went to both tv tapings and William Regal's one man show.

Raw was fantastic on Monday, the highlights being Show chokeslamming Orton through the table, Cena's handicap match and the whole main event angle with the Shield and the Wyatts.

Then afterwards, I went to 'An Audience with William Regal' one man comedy show at the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club in Manchester - Regal was absolutely fantastic. Did over 2 hours on stage, from 11:30pm to 1:40am. So many hilarious anecdotes, from randomly meeting Ricky Gervais and Noel Edmonds in LA, to his World of Sport days, to breaking in in Blackpool at the Tower Circus, to his WCW and WWE days. He's such a great performer and storyteller, and better than 95% of top comedians in the U.K. at the moment. There was a bunch of WWE stars in the VIP section of the club upstairs watching his show - Danel Bryan, Drew McIntyre, Brie Bella and Alberto Del Rio. Bryan even got involved in the show, asking 2 questions - to explain how Regal gave him his Dazzler nickname (after a very camp 1960s southern wrestler) and also about the whole Mans Man gimmick.

Then the Smackdown tapings last night were also good. There was dark match main event with Cena beating Del Rio with William Regal as surprise referee, then Regal attacking Cena afterwards. Cena also beat up the ring announcer twice. All funny stuff.

Loved the past two days, great stuff.

Oh man, Going to see WWE Live at the O2 TONIGHT!
Cannot wait!!!!

Here's a 5 -star match, I think possibly the greatest pure wrestling Wrestlemania match I've ever seen, better even than Savage/Steamboat WM3 and Hart/Hart WM10.

Anyone remember when they had all-star wrestling at the Empire about 10 years ago? They had tribute acts - including a fat guy with a mohican claiming to be "Tatanka".

Terrible stuff looking back, but for a 12 year old it was good enough entertainment when the real thing was still largely consigned to america.

Just got back from watching WWE Live in Leeds - phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal.

The pop for Bryan & Punk was incredible, but when you go to a live event you can see why Cena stays face - he's the draw for literally every kid in the venue. It'd be financial suicide to turn him heel, at least in the short term.

Wasn't that how the kayfabed his leaving to go to WCW by saying Jack Tuney fired him for those comments?

Disgraceful that, sacking the fella because of his beliefs. The man's as entitled to his opinion on the Bossman's mother or anyone else's mother for that matter and I have certainly never heard the Bossman or his mother deny any of it.

Things have improved a million bazillion percent now on the British indy scene. A lot of top British talent is getting signed up by WWE to developmental contract to be based in Orlando, and numerous others are under consideration and have had tryouts this past week.

Just back from the PCW show tonight and it was as good as any WWE show I've been to. Fantastic matches and entertainment and a red hot crowd. Plus got to see Hardcore Holly, D-Lo Brown, Kharma, Chris Masters and an all time legend and global superstar Jushin Thunder Liger in action.

Yeah, the kids love him. I was really impressed with some of his wrestling skills too, actually. He pulled off some damn good reversals in his house match with del Rio.
To be honest people only boo him (they don't hate him) because they know his shoulders are broad enough to take it.

Cena... persecuted in his time... just like Jesus.

I love John Cena. He's WWE's biggest pull by quite some way and is one of the the few wrestlers who all they ever wanted to do was wrestle, above making films or playing Football or anything else.
