Don't think I've ever asked this, any one here a fan of upstart promotion Ring of Honour?

Used to watch it when it was on the old Wrestling Channel a few years back, saw bits and bobs in recent years. Gonna try and pick up a few DVD's from Amazon and A-Merch within the next week or so

Best bet is to try ebay to see if someone's made a comp tape

The shows themselves are called "World Title Classic" and "Joe Vs Punk II"

Both matches are well worth checking out. Two of the best matches I've ever seen

Loved ROH, have hundreds of their DVD's but my interest in the promotion has really dipped over the past 18 months.

From an in-ring standpoint they blow most other promotions out of the water - except maybe NJPW. I think Jay Briscoe has just become champion so I'll have to see that show, but over the past 11 years he's probably fought everyone a dozen times already so not much new to see. I think ROH has a real problem developing new stars with personalities.

My indy promotion of choice is CHIKARA these days.

Huge fan mate, went to the Hammerstein ballroom show & Manhattan Center shows last week whilst in the U.S. for WM29. In work at the moment but at some point tonight/this week I'm gonna post something in this thread about the shows I went to and some photos.

Had my photo taken with both the new champ Jay Briscoe & Michael Elgin before the tv tapings last Saturday, really nice blokes. Jay in particular, I mentioned how I'd seen him wrestle live before in Liverpool in 2006, and he remembered wrestling at the Olympia.

Those two UK shows in 2006 were quality, great Nigel McGuinness matches, miss him.

Oh yeah!

CHIKARA is awesome. It's wrestling combined with comic books and video games. 3 of my favourite things!

Only downside is they've stopped using real music for people and replaced it with generic in house stuff
