Then they ruined it with Rock getting the upper hand at the end, almost confirming the Cena win for me.

Still really contemplating betting big money on Cena and Undertaker wins.

I think it's okay if only because the kids aren't as jaded as us so the more you stack the odds against Cena, the more anticipation they have to see him overcome the odds

I remember feeling that way when Rock beat HHH at Backlash 2000. They stacked all the odds against him (Vince at ringside, Shane as ref etc). Looking now, it was obvious that Rock would overcome those odds to win the title, especially after he'd lost at Wrestlemania. I was a Rock fan at the time and I remember thinking he still wouldn't win
