GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Re: Swagger's push, there are US political things afoot there. Glenn Beck, noted right-wing nutbag and hero to millions of hillbillies, unleashed a vicious anti-WWE screed because he's pissed about them making fun of Tea Partiers for being exactly what Tea Partiers are. In doing so, he handed Vince lots of mainstream media attention. So they're now cranking it up to 11. Swagger's push has been saved by the people he's making fun of.

Raw was great. Lesnar/HHH brawl was superb, and the Cena vs Punk main event was fantastic. Apparently Vince was furious with both Cena and Punk for doing the piledriver spot, as everyone knows the piledriver has been banned for years in WWE on safety grounds (only Taker is allowed to do the Tombstone, even Kane doesn't do it anymore).

Shocked that Taker wasn't on the show.

Dolph is like the forgotten man now, lost in the shuffle. So sad to see. And he still has the briefcase! I've said for ages and ages that he'll cash in at WM29, but even I'm beginning to have my doubts now.

Getting to see a Piledriver again really made this show for me. The main event was brilliant, and I also liked the opening brawl and the promo with Swagger, ZC and Del Rio. Swagger has got a fantastic character and theme song atm.

We've got Wigan in the cup on the 9th March at 12:45. Any wrestling fans who want to stick around should attend the Infinite Promotions show on the same day. I really like this company and most of their shows have been a lot of fun. Can't think of a better saturday than going to teh match, having some food and drink after and then attending the wrestling!
