RAW and Smackdown are getting all time low ratings. Are you sure lots of people tune into WWE for Ray? It's not 2009. People don't care that much about Ray Mysterio anymore. He's a nostalgic attraction and nothing else.

WWE's marketing strategy of making Jider Mahal didn't work to well in India did it? You can't just throw people onto the mix of random matchs and hope it'll do well to attract demographics.

You're talk of football maketing is utterly irrelevant to a discussion of Ray Mysterio and his draw value in 2019.

WWE can sign random Chinese and Indian wrestlers all they want. If they're doing nothing with them, nobody will care.

You must be joking here? You think having Ray Mysterio in a one min squash match at Mania proves he has draw value?! It was a throw away match for a throw away title that has as much significance as the old Hardcore or European title did.

Why is he in a number one contenders match. Your guess is as good as mine but I suppose it makes sense for a company who names a tag team "Viking Experience" and thinks that will get over!

Again with your silly comparisons between Undertaker and Ray Mysterio, they're not even close to the same level draw wise and never have been at any point ffs. Of course Undertaker could sell out a building for a match at any point even now, I never disputed otherwise. So could Hulk Hogan but it would still be a terrible idea to do so both from a health perspective and a match quality perspective.

Again it's 2019 not 2009 and Mysterio isn't the draw he was. He's been brought in to be a jobber for the stars as he has name recognition and was a draw once

Basically he's the DragonGate Champion and they don't want him doing any jobs. I think it probably has something to do with the fact AEW are working with CIMA who created a splinter group from DragonGate, so DragonGate are kind of sticking it to them for working with him

What's worse is the booking made no sense. Ali had his hands on the case as the music hits - he could have taken it and ran.

That's before even mentioning the fact that the officiating and rules throughout the whole night was atrocious.

I am hoping AEW does well, really am.
