The issue with brock holding the title isn't because he is holding the title.

The issue is that he is still booked as unbeatable. How many times did reigns lose to him before it took an interference to finally beat him? Having him easily beat strowman like that destroys any credibility in strowman being able to beat him in future. If he had recovered from the f5 and had a come back then you would believe it was Corbin who cost him. But having him hit with a finisher over and over without offense still makes him look weak.

To be honest if WWE booked an unbeatable champion who appeared weekly then it works. You have people weekly go against them, lose sure but they are a target at least. Can lead to factions, partnerships for long term booking (drew and ziggler for example) and at least show the unbeatable guy is human is they were to get outwrestled. It worked with JBL for so long, and it generated heat.

So with brock off again until probably January then you don't have a champion, a title or any real means of a number one contender as there won't be title matches at ppv after survivor series.

I think what wwe have done here is terrible for business but to preserve storylines. So having Rollins win at mania as was the original plan allegedly still exists, but at the cost of losing a credible title which over time again will lose ratings and viewers over time.

I liked the title match... Didn't think it hurt Strowman at all, clearly what's his name cost him the match, but surviving 4 F5's protected him...
Also, really don't think Strowman is ready for the title... Not sure when Lesnar is fighting in Ufc, but would much prefer they went with Rollins as champ next... I'd even have Drew McIntyre ahead of Strowman right now...

Wrestle Kingdom card is shaping up nicely.

Omega vs Tanahashi - IWGP Title
Jericho vs Naito - Intercontinetal Title
Okada vs Jay White
Kushida vs Ishimori - Junior Title
Suzuki Gun vs LIJ vs R3K - Junior Tags

Still got matches for the US Title, British Rev Pro Title, Never Open, Heavyweight Tags and Never Open Tags still to go.

Glorious.

Brock only has 2 or 3 appearances left so unless that changes expect him to lose it sooner rather than later.

As for Shane. I’m told this was the plan all along. To turn him heel so to speak.
