GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Sure, awful in ring wrestler, but 10 times more interesting as a character in the later days of WCW than Dupree or Dykstra could ever dream of.

And he had some pretty decent hardcore matches which is more than they ever had as well.
He had way more freedom then either Dupree or Dykstra to work on his character though. Give both of them half the freedom Flair had in WCW and they'd be more entertaining then he was. He was awful on every level and only had a job in the business because of who his Dad was.

Maybe, maybe not. Fact is that Flair worked round his limitations and provided more entertainment from his career than those 2 ever did.

Mind you, Dupree did have a huge package which made his matches 1 step above really boring.

WWE have taken Rusev out of the casket match with Undertaker at the "Greatest Royal Rumble" show. They've Kayfabed that Lana has refused to let him participate and replaced him with Chris Jericho.

Well at least they've not gone the distance with that ludicrous idea of burying Ruesv (YET!). Jericho won't be hurt by losing to Taker and has been moved from the Rumble match itself. Still, whoever thought this match up in the first place needs to be fired. There's absolutely no way this will be the final undertaker appearance which means WWE are going to pimp out his legacy for all its worth. They're gonna ruin the guy by the time he eventuality does stop aren't they?:(

It gets better! The reason Jericho has replaced Rusev isn't because it was a ludicrous decision to put him in the match in the first place. Though I'd imagine that a few of the sycophants who knew how bad the idea was but said nothing are secretly delighted to have a way out. According to Jericho on his podcast it was because he refused to travel around the world just to participate in a glorified battle royal. This company is totally clueless.

Was a part of the Andre the Giant documentary which I thought showed Vince in a really bad light... He had gone to Andre to pitch him the idea for Wrestlemania 3...Andre spoke first to Vince and told him he was done, his body was broken down and he was in alot of pain... Vince just ignored this and told him about the Hulk Hogan match.... They got him back surgery and manipulated him into doing this match (pass the torch), which Vince knew was massively needed to elevated Hulk and WWF... Without that match, no way does wwf become as popular as it did.... Even Hulk admitted therevwas nó way Andre should have wrestled that match (watching the bodyslam made me wince knowing how painful that must have been for André)...

So yeah, unless Taker is smart enough to walk away now, Vince will put him out there for years more if he can make money from him...
