I don't buy that. Vince doesn't care about TNA and would never ok giving them free publicity. A sizable number of casual fans won't of even been aware of TNA's existence until that Kurt Angle line. I doubt for even a second Vince knows or cares that TNA took the mick out of WWE on their show. They've been ripping into WWE and the McMahon's for years, Kurt Angle was one of the worst offenders for it when he was there and nobody fired back then.

Hardly great publicity though is it?

Plus, you do know it's scripted right? Kurt would've been told to say it.

It's still free publicity on a rival show, by just acknowledging TNA's existence they've given them more credit then Vince ever has before. All publicity is good publicity.

Of course the show is scripted but Kurt Angle wouldn't be the first person to throw in a line that he thinks would make his promo better without the approval of the office.

Erm...just watch the Rousey match. The rest is alright but you wouldn’t be missing much.

Lashley's better than he was, had a decent heel run in TNA recently.
