Did you guys watch the ad-free Smackdown live show last night?
Fair bit of storyline development. Basically it was established that Dolph, A.J. & Big E. Langston are a permanent heel trio, with Dolph & A.J. an item, constantly making out, etc. Langston is A.J.'s 'friend', and basically the silent bodyguard/muscle for both Dolph & A.J. Langston beat up Miz during Miz TV, when Miz was making fun of A.J. during the opening segment. They also showed a bunch of clips from past shows trying to establish why A.J. turned on Cena (he broke her heart by being mean to her, inadvertently). Langston also beat up Cena again during the main event tag, saving Ziggler.
Also, the Shield beat up Rey Mysterio in an off-screen attack (they had his mask), and then destroyed Sin Cara's knee. Sin Cara has a real life knee injury and this was his storyline exit for now. Shield also beat up Brodus Clay too.
Punk did an interview, and it was revealed Punk vs Ryback for the title will happen on the January 7th RAW. They didn't mention it, but Rock will also supposedly be on that show in person, to begin the hype for the Punk vs Rock match at the Rumble.
Also, they taped the Christmas Eve RAW after the live Smackdown taping went off the air, and it was revealed that...

Even if you don't like wrestling, this video is awesome. Daniel Bryan meets a 6 year old Brain Cancer sufferer and his younger brother who both idolise him. Just great.

Agree about x-mas Raw,complete rubbish,knew it would be like,i am not a fan of Ryback myself-just hated the way they had everyone lose to him for weeks etc,and that feed me more Catch Phrase is bloody annoying lol,quite like the Shield and Dean Ambrose,never heard of him myself till all this Foley/Ambrose stuff happening months ago

I thought the Xmas Raw brilliant, it reminded me of why I got into pro Wrestling in the first place, just good harmless fun. I particuarly enjoyed the Miracle on 34th street fight. The only bad point for me was Khali's singing.
