GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

So Summerslam was a bit of a wash out really, few decent matches but nothing special.

APART FROM BRAUN STROWMAN DESTROYING BROCK LESNAR!!!!!!!!!!

That main event was superb even when it ran out of steam a bit near the end, loved Braun chucking one of those massive chairs at Joe and Roman's heads.

Bubba Ray Dudley (Bully Ray)
Cody Rhodes
Sin Cara (in his Mistico persona)
Christopher Daniels
Frankie Kazarian

I'm a fan of ROH so it wasn't any of them I particularly went to see.

It was the best wrestling show I've ever seen live.

Watched on iPPV as I couldn't coerce any of my mates into going.

Scurll and The Bucks were great as per.

I still can't believe they gave Cody that obscene Stardust gimmick.

I thought Legacy were absolutely amazing. (Think that's what Di Biase and Rhodes went by?)

First wrestling show I've been to on my own.

Having the Japanese and Mexican wrestlers involved just seemed like a once in a lifetime event. The lucha match was my favourite and it was amazing to see the Young Bucks live. They really are masters of their craft. Not a bad match on the show, will be interesting to see how I view them on screen.

I've never been to the Olympia before. It's a small venue. I asked a steward where my tier was and see replied just past the tables in the next room. As I walked past the tables I was shocked to see Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian standing at the tables. Was a new experience to me! I hadn't realised there was an autograph / photo session before the show. During intermission The Briscoe's and Bully Ray where at the table.

I couldn't bring myself to cheer for The Briscoe's, as they were tagging up Bully Ray and he came to the ring wearing a RS scarf. He wore a replica shirt of theirs at a TNA television taping in Manchester a couple of years back - it's the only time I've cheered Mr. Anderson!

I thought I had bought tickets for the stand but ended up being six rows from the ring with a great view.

From the length of this post you can probably tell I had a great time.

His brother Dustin was one of my favourite wrestlers as a youngster and I really hated the Goldust gimmick. I softened towards it later on and as a babyface he wrestled like the Dustin of old. I really enjoyed his teaming up with Cody.

There was nothing original about Stardust. It was like management admitting they didn't know what to do with him.

Leaving the WWE and going on the independent scene and NJPW has been the making of him. Fans want to cheer him but he does a good job winding them up. He's allowed to be himself and he looks comfortable and carries himself like a star.

I can't remember what that stable was called, but I quite liked Dibiase Jr. He was another one who never looked comfortable in the role he was given - a copy of his legendary father's gimmick, not long after he had said he was his own man and wanted to make it his own way.
