GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

So back in NXT Finn Balor was the guy. Now that he's on Raw, he's just as boring as the rest of the roster. Anyone got any suggestions as to what they should do to give him some damn personality (and thus giving fans a reason to care)? He can't talk, he looks generic, though he's good in the ring and has a brilliant theme song. To me he just haven't handled the step up from NXT to the main roster very well, and it's sad as he's a great performer on his day.

Balor is not the only guy I feel this way about though, many of the NXT guys seems to have trouble finding their feet on the main roster. American Alpha, Tye Dillinger (though he never got the opportunity to do anything), The Ascension, Tyler Breeze (until recently) etc

I’d have handled Finn completely differently. On both his debut run and his return from injury.

The absolute lack of feuds for him to use his demon side is baffling.

I do know that they know what they’ve got with him. The most talented bloke going. But they’re just not using him correctly. Or even close.

When he was to debut, it should have been a slow thing. With the odd appearance as the demon just showing up and being weird. Not sure who against. Doesn’t really matter.

And for his injury return, put him in a feud immediately. Against someone like Bray where his demon could be used again. Like really easily.

I bet he’s forgotten how to put the paint on.

Having said all that, I know he’s in for a title run soon, and have heard a few Bullet Club rumours.

I imagine he will be fed to Brock after the predictable Brock v Braun Summerslam match. Maybe Survivor Series will be the time for that. Easy story to tell as he will just bring up the fact he's not had a chance to get the title back he never lost. Unfortunately he will get beaten and then out of the title picture until after Wrestlemania at the earliest.

He'll probably get a Bray Wyatt feud as it allows the Demon aspect as you say and they love booking a feud where a face can go over Bray.

It's incredible that on a 3 hour weekly show they can't find time to give the better guys time to do interesting stuff. Why waste so much time on Goldust R-Truth for example.

On your first point.

I’m told they’re not having Brock vs Braun at Summerslam now.

It will be Brock vs ............

.......... Reigns.

Hurray!!

This could mean a few things.
- they’re not doing Brock/Reigns at Mania
- Reigns wins to get the title back on TV on a regular basis
- Or they’re setting it up for a longer feud.

And there’s a chance Samoa Joe will be added to the Summerslam match as he’s impressing big time at the moment.

MORE AS I GET IT.

Just been reading the same things. Do you get your info from Rajah or PWMania or something like that or do you have an actual contact?

Also, if you don't already you should read The John Report. He reviews all Raws, Smackdowns and PPVs. TJRWrestling.com is his site. Full of other really good stuff too

So, as someone predicted somewhere in this thread, TNA has confirmed that Impact Wrestling will now be rebranded into Global Force Wrestling.

http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2017/0630/627633/impact-wrestling-set-to-re-brand-as-gfw/
Knew it was coming! Thought it would take at least a few months but maybe a quick move isn't a bad idea. They really should take this opportunity to have a fresh start and try to get back to what made TNA good (or at least watchable) back between 2004-09. Unfortunately I think we're just in for more of the same awful nonsanse TNA has been giving out since 2010, really hope I'm wrong on this because the buissneess needs a second promotion that isn't just a glorified (and badly run) Indy show.

So with the news of TNA and GFW merging into one show that makes Sunday's Slammiversary PPV more interesting. Lots of title unification match's coming and a fairly decent line-up, with the exception of the ridiculous Scott Steiner & Josh Matthew's Vs Joseph Park & Jeremy Borash match which has non buissneess being on a random impact much less TNA's (or GFW's) equivalent of Wrestlemaina. Still, it looks like one of the better shows they've put out for a long time at least.

Scott Steiner is wrestling on Slammiversary? Definitely watching that! :D

In all seriousness, TNA was probably my favorite show back around 08/09, when I was absolutely sick of PG WWE. Too bad they screwed ut bigtime bringing in Hogan. Would love to see them do well again, though I highly doubt it'll ever happen. They've lost most of my favorite workers to WWE as well. Is Motorcity Machine Guns still wrestling btw? Used to love those guys.

The President of the United States of America, the ACTUAL President just tweeted this....

It's easy to forget how mad this all is and then things like this happen...
