I thought that one might raise some eyebrows, but I think it's fantastic

No it defiantly derserves to be in there, it was a great match. Most will just of forgotten it because of WWE's attempt to rewrite history and pretend Benoit ever happened.

An honourable mention of Eddie Guerruro Vs Ray Mysterio at Wrestlemania 21 Which I also thought was a brilliant match but not the beat they ever had.

Does this have Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle at a PPV I can't remember in it?

Both excellent shouts, but they were both just edged out (It was Summer Slam 2002 btw Ijjy)

BTW I think it's great that you thought if such a match like that because while it was over in the blink of an eye it gripped the audience and caught everyone off guard. I'd pretty much forgotten everything else but the Hulk Hogan Vs Shawn Michaels main event of that PPV.

Same with the Saturn/Goldberg one really

There's been better actual matches, but that played it's role on the card as an opener so well that I felt it deserved a mention

Leaving off Pillman/Liger is probably going to get me some stick in some quarters, but I've explained why in the other Pillman match listed and I think it's a valid stance to take

I remember the Goldburg Vs Satern match quite clearly because i was still a huge mark at the time and it was interesting to see Goldberg in a different type of match then he had been before (actually having to work!).

Funny you mention the Brian Pillman match because Johnny B Badd aka Marc Mero was great as that character and it was disappointing that it didn't work out for him in WWE. The problem was he'd trained most of his career to be the Johnny B Badd persona and he couldn't work without it so he ended up playing second fiddle to Sable because that moron Russo was infatuated with her.

When you consider this as well;

Bray Wyatt / Dean Ambrose / Roman Reigns / Braun Strowman / The Miz / fin balor / seth rollins / samoa joe

What have they all got in common?

the answer? All the biggest stars in the company to some extent and have no official world title to compete for. In fact in the grand scheme of things, ambrose mix and wyatt were taken away from a competitive environment and put on a show which literally is going to run for a total of 2 PPV before you even see anyone challenge for the title. and even better story writing is the fact Strowman is still in a feud with reigns so neither is any closer to a main title shot!

Wyatt really got screwed by the switched to Raw..... Gone from being World Champ in the Smackdown Wrestlemania Main event, to a midcarder on RAW with no chance of a world title run, and now about to enter a feud with Balor which will not end well for him....

Not the biggest Wyatt fan anymore, feel he's a bit stale, but I agree on the point you're making.

I'm more worried about The Miz being turned into a massive joke again on Raw though.

They've almost totally ruined the Bray Waytt character at this stage. He's been booked to lose or come out the worse for practically every single major fued he's been involved in for years now. FFS, even the Indians won a few battles before John Wayne rode in to save the day!

Word is Wyatt is not a happy bunny about it all mate.

Has to be frustrating for him....developed a very fresh and interesting character, and despite getting over with the crowd, has constantly had his legs cut off by poor booking...
