how is reigns second in merch? would have thought new day would be ahead of him.

According to latest figures in Wrestling Observer.

Like it or not kids like him. You only have to look around the arenas atvlive events to see evidence of it.

If they had any sense they would have Wyatt v Orton on last and use it to finally establish Wyatt. He has everything. He is early-Austin like in that he is a heel but the crowds absolutely love him. He is the only main-eventer that hasn't had a good push yet.

They won't do it of course and either Randy will win or there will be some rubbish ending that takes the shine off a Wyatt win.

If I was booking it then Sister Abigail would debut but given that there are no secrets anymore I have no idea who would fit into that role. So it would probably be a flop (far more likely Eric Rowan or Luke Harper do something).

Also, with the "broken" Hardys coming back you could set up a very weird and very good story between them for the title which immediately makes them credible again.

If the Hardy's are allowed to use the Broken gimmick that is.

Fingers crossed that gets sorted as it would be great.

Reckon Wyatt will be a huge babyface soon enough

I don't see that happening myself mate. He might get over with the audience a bit more and get slightly faceish reactions sometimes but WWE will never turn him into a full-blown face imo. Most he'll ever be is a tweener.

Would have said the same about Taker years ago.... The crowd always pops big for Wyatt... He has a Badass look, great on the mic, and in ring he's really good, just needs to be booked stronger.... Character does need a little tweaking, but don't think he needs anything big...

I remember about a year ago he tagged with Reigns on RAW, showed huge potential as a babyface that night i thought....

But he wasn't a babyface that night, he was like the NWO and loads of other cool heels over the years getting face reactions, being over with the crowd doesn't atomically make you a face. Undertaker used to get face reactions all the time when he was most definitely playing the heel as the cult leader and again when he did the respect angle in late 2001/02. Bray never be another Undertaker regardless of how he's booked (though he has been booked horrendously). There really isn't much wiggle room with the Bray Wyatt character, I know Taker made the American Badass thing work but that's because he was the Undertaker and he could (and still does!) get away with anything.

That gives them two options then

They can either keep Reigns face and put him on a redemption arc that eventually sees him winning the title the following Mania

Or they can have him turn heel next night and blame the fans, leading to him winning the belt and then defending against the next top babyface the following Mania (Such as Balor or Rollins)

Either works for me

I'd definitely go for a third option mate - have Reigns go berserk after the loss and trash the Undertaker, putting him on the shelf for a year (conveniently giving the storyline excuse for him being out until next WM).

It would instantly make Reigns a mega-heel - it's his house, he's better than everyone, nobody is stopping him and he's going to take out everyone in his path etc. etc. And few would cheer him for it as it would be the Undertaker he kicks off on.

Totally agree with every prediction you have here with the exception of the Undertaker Vs Roman Reigns match, I actually think they're going to make the terrible mistake and let Reigns go over........... Cleanly!

Plus I wouldn't like to make a guess with the Battle Royale because I'm sure they're going to throw a curveball and have somebody totally unexpected win.

A lot of these matchs will no doubt be on the short side simply because of the time constraints, the card looks a little over packed to me.

This would definitely be the best option. I'm unconvinced however that WWE (especially Vince) would allow 'their guy' to turn heel like that. They seem determined to go all the way with Reigns as THE top face despite all the evidence that it simply will not work.

If it goes on last, imo it's because it's Takers last 'Mania. He then goes out on his back and Reigns gets the 'rub', so to speak.

You'll be able to hear the boos from miles around Orlando.

Would they end Mania like that though?

I guess they put Rollins over in 2015 at the end

I'd be fine with this, if he does it the next night on Raw
