I'm not surprised Roydo as I don't think the police would arrest themselves because as far as I see there the little beauts who caused all this in the first place.

Went to lille but not the main square, police were there in numbers and in riot gear. They made the atmosphere grim around the place before the game knowing what had happened. Everton need to do something about this.

As a UK Cop I am gobsmacked at their public order tactics and the heavy handed nature. Obviously we have a different style here (and we are far too soft in most situations, away from football I mean) but it's the speed at which they up the anti I find most shocking and disturbing. To have a few bottles thrown does not warrant mass cs gassing of a large crowd and rubber bullets can be fatal! I really hope blues get together and complain on mass. I hope the merseyside liaison officers witnessed it too and can add their weight to any complaints.

I went yesterday we got escorted from the airport in the morning then escorted to the ground for the match and after the match. There was a ridiculous amount of police around considering our fans have no history of misbehaving on away trips. However I think some fans are being a bit too harsh on the police by a large the police weren't as bad as people are making out. The majority of our fans behaved impeccably yesterday but there were some fans taking the piss and behaving stupidly. Some divvy jumped in the fountain, some moron about 40 who was starting a fight in the ground with a group of older Evertonian's over some silly argument over a flag. Most of our fans are great however the worst thing is that a lot of fans acting stupidly were middle aged not even young lads.

Read that before mate what you said regarding the Crowne Plaza and that's a bloody piss take within itself. If I was you I would be making a huge complaint. I go to France nearly every year for a holiday and have never had any issues which basically shows you its a football related issue the French have with us Brits. For it to extend to a world renowned hotel is a joke.
