Whoops, sorry for not replying to you mate, really rude of me. Totally missed your question :lol:

Lot's of stretching mate yeah. Found it was great for my back and my neck. There's different levels you can do. The best thing is just to do whatever stretches you can. Don't try too much too soon or you can hurt yourself.

It is great though, I feel like a new man after a session

nice one mate, I think I will give it a try on Saturday.
 
quick question

if you have a scrawny physique like this

and you want to buff up so your muscles look bigger but still maintain that physique how would you do it

is it a mass issue, i.e. you need to get muscle mass on chest and arms? in which case to increase mass you would increase your calorie intake and increase your protein intake and do bigger weights at less reps?

About sums up what I would be doing.

Obviously adding mass you aren't gonna keep that exact physique, but by doing that you can still stay slim.

Just watch your fat intake and make sure you continue to work your core.
 
The main thing I like about America is women dig sports! Goodness knows what's wrong with UK women, but most American chicks I've met like sports!

You go and watch sport to get away from them. no way would I want my missus coming to the match, I get enough ear ache at home!!

You possibly at a fairly low calorie diet and have a small appetite. Write up what you eat n a day, including rough size of meals. Take photos if you can. Most people who are low bf either accept they don't have a large appetite, or they're in total denial and genuinly believe they eat loads.

Secondly, forget this chest and arms bollocks. If that actually worked you'd see loads of guys with massive guns and big tits, simply doesn't happen. You'll gain size in these areas as your overall physique grows.

You're better off focusing on strength to start with, bit keeping the reps at the upper end of strength training 5-8 reps. Stick to compound movements, and train 2-3 times per week doing a full body routine. Try and find a book called Braun of you can, or Starting strength, and go from there. Switch to a bodybuilding type programme after six months or so

Normally I'd agree, but I've started to notice a correlation between women who like sports and more sane types! Or maybe I just date fruit loops......
 
Rowing machines - was going to et a concept 2 but I saw an Infinite R100 at half the price with good reviews - anyone used one?
 
Back in the gym tomorrow. Had a few weeks off whilst works been busy, been working my lunch! No excuses really.
