Few pages back , lid .

Different title , methinks .

Watched an english film recently called Heartless - the new Philip Ridley movie - which was very good.

One of those that is spoiled by knowing much about it beforehand, so I'll just say 'Watch it, it's ace'.

I'm starting to enjoy mindless action films, and comedies again.

Watched Batman last night, it was quite good I thought.

Also lately, I watched Kick Ass. Good film. Definately one of the more violent films i've seen.

Ermmm...The Terminator the other night, always a classic.

I should watch more films.

Just watched.....

IRON MAN II

Was alright like, bit cheesey just like the 1st. but still worth a watch.

Still not as good as other comic books turned into films.....

6/10

Love it! (y) I prefer those type of films really - Superbad - The Hangover - Pineapple Express etc.

Deadwood.. 10/10 <-- Needs a bigger scale for this one IMO..

p.s. it's an HBO, 3 season series, not a movie. Incase you were looking to watch it..

"Are you talking to me, you f***ing c******ker?" :D

Love Deadwood. A great way to expand your understanding of the Wild West, if not your vocabulary.

Hidden gems from some years back:

The Freshman - Brando and Matthew Broderick - just watch it.

Crimes and Misdemeanors - a great movie from a seriously twisted piece of [Poor language removed]. Martin Landau and Jerry Orbach are incredible in this.

My TV series to recommend - Arrested Development - didn't I see some blert in here with Bob Loblaw as a handle? Start at the beginning and roll with it.

One word..... SOLD...

Heat is still the greatest film I have ever had the pleasure of watching, and I don't really think anything will ever top it for me...

...I've just bought The Deer Hunter which I have never seen, looking forward to seeing it!

Oh, and anyone that likes The Dark Knight also watches Family Guy online illegally, the bad Kings of Leon fan!

I really liked Kick Ass lately, get him to the greek, shutter island, inception, the new Tron and always the Big Lebowski.

I am going to go and see this next:

Seen lately:

The American - tosh, sorry George, although eye candy for both sexes was good
Shutter Island - hmm, worked it out early on which kind of spoiled it, bit overwrought
Black Swan - talking of overwrought, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis undressing one another still didn't make up for the psychological rubbish
Another Year - strange, this one. My view of what this was about changed completely, stayed in the mind more than many films I've seen lately. Worth watching.

Looking forward to:

True Grit
Winter's Bone
The White Ribbon
