To be honest he could be a good buy, but I won't swallow my pride.
Got me eyes on Van der Vaart, especially now that Modric could be out for some months.
I see ToffeeDan has Konchesky... Is this allowed?
As said, I only play with those self imposed rules. 1) Tim Cahill will always be the first player picked. 2) There will be the maximum amount of Everton players present and 3) No RS, no matter what.

I had to make 2 transfers cause 2 of my players left the league. The 2 i brought in got injured. Jinxed from the start.

Overall a very low scoring week IMO, and I took a 4 point hit to bring in Assou-Ekotto only to find him on the bench. *sigh*
Well, for reasons I can't readily explain, I am top of the League. It must have been that lucky guess to bring in Charlie Adam.
However I can advise people to shift Bobby Zamora if they have him - currently at £6.5M - as his price will obviously plummet. I've gone for The Yak (£6.8M) on the bench as I think we might see more of him in the next few weeks - probably start him ahead of Carroll (bench) for the 4-0 Everton win next weekend..
And Konchevsky is in cos he's cheap (Fulham price). Benched him to bring in better players elsewhere. So he's there not for his points but so I can use my money wisely. If it contravenes the GOT rules I'll dump him next week (having sold Zamora for The Yak this week).

I had Charlie Adam in my team before the season started but replaced him with Barry Ferguson as he was the cheaper option.
It would also make sense to swap Zamora for Dembele, who has looked a good plaer whenver I've seen him play. Yak is on my Watch List at the moment.
*Used my free transfer this week, Pienaar (£6.8m) in for Valencia (£8.2m), who I've made a £0.3 loss on. Saving my wildcard for next week.
Also, why didn't Sagna play at all?

My strategy depends for a lot on how Everton are doing. If they are doing well, the chances are pretty big, I'm doing well. Looking at my CB situation now. Brought in both Assou-Ekotto and Alex, as they did very well in the starting weeks of the PL. Both on the bench yesterday though. Will see how that one develops over the next weekend.

Modric's travelling to Germany for the match on Tuesday, his injury is not serious.
