Surveys are a world apart from social media polls, or forum online counts etc - they're a different beast. Especially surveys that take nearly 10 minutes to complete. Prior setting up ours, I had a look at the rest of the league and the most engaged fan survey I found was one at Newcastle (1,200 responses) and the best one at Arsenal has been running for 7+ years and did 800.

I assume you're taking the piss at how much we promoted it. You couldn't visit GrandOldTeam without a notification at the top prompting to complete the survey, there was a number of articles, threads, countless social media updates etc.

I actually don't think there will be another fan survey of that type from a Premier League club with as big a sample size as ours.

No, the total opposite. I hadn't seen it promoted, so was wondering if for the next time, a link could go out via email or directly to PMs.

Well, we can't fix stupid.

We can see who disables notifications - you clicked the x to disable the permanent notification at the top of this very forum.

Ah, I usually go straight to the forum via url, rather than the homepage. Genuine question, is this not what most people do too?

In addition to a thread being bumped on a number of occasions, there was a notification, a big box at the top of every page/thread of the forum for 2 weeks for those people.

And @GrandOldTeam

It got umpteen mentions on social media, especially Twitter - and retweets from lots including The Blue Room, ToffeeTV, and lots of Blues with large social media followings.
Broadsheet sports journalists were aware of it and we provided them with the results and our 'key findings'.

So quite how you couldn't be aware of it is a bit baffling.

I don't use twitter currently to be fair and haven't for a while. Which newspaper was it in?

At least 30 people within the club, 2 within EitC and 14 within Fanatics have accessed the survey findings ;);)

To be fair, all the journos who requested the details were all either away in Baku for the EL Final or were already on their way to Madrid for tonight.
But at least two have said they will use the material and the Echo have said they will too.

In fairness, the survey isn't as high a priority for them given what else has gone on/is going on this past week, but we explained the need for us to publish our results quickly as from our point of view, we'd said we would so we did.

I have every confidence that they won't let us down... although we could do with a Spurs win tonight to maybe help things along a bit.
 
The Echo said they would, but then they also said a few times they'd mention our Mishmash.

They're useless/don't like us.
