Player Valuation: £35m
Still can't believe it, i was talking to a friend of mine who's a liverpool fan, and i kept commenting on how weak his shots looked, one had about the pace as a back pass to a goalie, and the other wasn't terrible but obviously wasn't going to beat reina

then, out of nowhere... i'm still at a loss for words

He's attack minded.....

Wasnt he a right back when we bought him?

Anyway, he looks like a Cahill-type. Able to pop up in the box and find space.

Bright future.

Thought he had lost it and was closed down so quick by 3 defenders but managed to make some space and curled it in.(y)

Him and Rodwell are just so comfy on the ball and dont panic. They even ask for the ball, want the ball.

Most young lads just [Poor language removed] it.

Was impressed with the sense he had to hold the ball and run down the clock at the end.

Something our more experienced players didn't have the presence of mind to do in the Arsenal game.

Hope we at least get a little bit of money for Anichibe.

Aside from the goal ... when he got the ball into space late and didn't go in for a second goal, I loved it. He, instead, took the ball to the corner, held it for about 20-30 seconds and booted it off a Red. In all, it killed about a minute. Brilliant.

He looks a great player, isnt afraid to take on players - like Carragher and Mascherano - ran with some pace, very sensible sometimes by wasting time rather than shooting, and he scored.

He made a great run earlier in the match too...if Arteta had been quicker with the pass he wouldve been through on goal.
