He's great. It's not just that he keeps getting in goalscoring situations, but his all-around play has been great. His passing is especially impressive and he tackles and tracks back well.

Think he's got the potential to develop into a good box-to-box midfielder for us.

That's what he's been training to become, he was a right back when we signed him but since he arrived he's played in the centre mid & has been a box-to-box player. He seems to have all the attributes & seems to have his head on straight so hopefully he'll keep progressing & become a big player for us

Had another excellent game yesterday, he's still a kid so he'll have bad games but he'll get more time on the pitch before the end of the season & hopefully he'll keep performing at a similar level

I think part of him was of and part of him was on.

But i cant remember which way offside goes.

Is it if any part of you is offside then you are off or is it if any part of you is onside you are on?

I thought he was offside just prior to the final ball, but i thought he was just on, when the ball was played.

Yeah, looked to me like the defender just runs back level with him as Lescott crosses.

Moyesy says:

"Dan has been terrific. His performance at Middlesbrough was really strong for a young boy,"

"He has got a lot going for him. He was very close to starting in the next game, but I felt it was right for Leon Osman, who had been injured, to come back in.

"However Dan came on later and scored. He's made a good start. Now we want to make sure he keeps progressing.

"We are going to give him moments on the field to make sure that happens. We just hope he can keep developing."

DAVID MOYES today hailed Dan Gosling’s impressive start to life in Everton’s first team and vowed to find the opportunities that will accelerate his progress.

“Dan has been terrific,” said Moyes. “His performance at Middlesbrough was really strong for a young boy.

“He has got a lot going for him.

“He was very close to starting in the next game (against Sunderland) but I just felt it was right for Leon Osman, who had been injured, to come back in.

“However, Dan came on later and scored. He’s made a good start. Now we want to make sure he keeps progressing.

“We are going to try to give him moments on the field to make sure that happens. We just hope he can keep developing.”
