I was thinking we could do that Levellers song for Gibson.

I have noticed when the park end are singing everyone else joins in almost immediately, certaintly from were I sit in the gwladys, yet most of the time the gwladys start singing the park end just sit there. I prefer the GP cauldron were everybody just goes mental.
bit cringey, so a no from me.
If people want to be grouped together to sing all day there are plenty of churches around.
Goodison is a reactive crowd, not a proactive one, so it wouldn't work anyway it'd just be an excuse for these wannabe ultras to pretend theyre on mad ones with the flares etc.
Exactly. Singing is one thing but this choreographed message/response, banging on a drum the whole game, and doing whatever some overweight biff with tattoos and a megaphone wants you to is cringeworthy. The reverse of genuine 'atmosphere' admired by soccerball fans who watch too much Bundesliga instead of getting out in the fresh air.As long as I don't have to hear any drums whatever is fine by me.
Those absolute blerts at Crystal Palace are embarrassing. Ultras have never been a thing in English football, it is all so fake and forced.
So for me, it's a no.
Always are a completely different beast. There's a reason why the away fans are always louder in just about every ground in the country despite being outnumbered 9/1 at least. When everyone who wants to sing groups together in the concourses at the aways I don't see what's wrong with that?
It's just the same as that but in the stands, rather than than being spread about being forced to sit.
People at goodison can sing literally whenever they want, a singing section wouldn't suddenly make people go 'OH YOU KNOW WHAT I FANCY IT NOW LIDS' it'd just be the same as any other section but attract to more of the divs. When everyone who wants to sing groups together in the concourses at the aways I don't see what's wrong with that?
