Last night was a very un-Everton performance in my eyes. About from the season we finished fourth we just never seem to win tight, awkward games. Newcastle looked completely crap at times but they still created a number of solid chances. On another day we could easily have lost that 4-2.

Last night, plus Spurs and Wigan in particular also helps to make up for some of those gut wrenching games at the start of the season where we were hammered by late goals - e.g. Newcastle, Fulham stand out.

No good omens all this. 3rd place and the FA Cup I reckon.

5th or 6th place, and no cup i think - we don't have the squad to be able to manage a cup run. Age and depth.

You have to remember Newcastle are in very poor form, and are struggling, they have lost 10 out of their last 13, but yeah a good win anyway but we cant get carried away. I'm worried that we're already being stretch by injuries and we wont have the fuel to finish the race, also worried about players in the wrong position and didnt like the long ball to fellaini at times.

It we (ever) get Miralas and Gibbo back (for more than 1 or 2 games) , and drop Naismith (Out of position/knee surgery aside) we will be twice the side. Don't think we've put our strongest side out once this season

We should finish at least 6th but with the red ****e seemingly believing now and Suarez, Im not writing them off.

Suarez can drag them up the league.

Prediction:

Lowest:7th
Highest:3rd
Reality:5th/6th

was pretty much carbon copy of west ham win, not sure what you mean by winning tight games, virtually every win this season has been by one goal

we could be 11 ahead of them in 2 games time

I aint writing them off. Suarez is possibly the most dangerous stiker in the league. He can make his own goals and is in blistering form.

he can also miss them though, he's not even the top scorer, there are better than him in the league.
