Mail features long article about Lee Carsley and family pre-Birmingham game:

"It's gone through the roof at Everton," he said. "David Moyes has done a great job. He's got the manager- of-the-year a couple of times. People in the game know what he has done.

"I remember an incident with Jesper Blomqvist in his (Moyes's) first game at home. He threw a bit of a wobbler and the manager stamped on it.

"The gaffer has got a big thing that if he's substituting you, it's for a reason. Basically, he's trying to win a game. We have to respect that. It's never happened since, to anyone."

And more at the Daily Mail

Good article mate, This lads so down to earth he's been the backbone of our midfield for a while and just gets on with it just wish he was a bit younger

Jesper who?
I remember that strop. He came off the field all Rooney like, sat down without shaking the hands of the player coming on, I think.

Moyes moves in from his dug out to the player and gives him a right earful, full blast, picasso level with steam coming out of his ears. No wonder it never happened again.

Absolutely correct BT. it was that incident that said to me that guy stands a great chance of sorting us out. It was soon followed by farewell Ginola, Gazza and Jaspar as well and we continue to improve to this day(y)
