Scheffler could have done with Smith playing well. He’s a top match player though, so should be ok.

Nobody will remember or care in a month but Scheffler and Rory having opposite tee times Thursday and Friday is probably most of the gap between the two. Scottie got a big boost being last out when the wind died.
