That is what I expect of them. The forwards score the goals, the midfielders create the goals.

To be fair the whole midfeild need to be chipping in with more goals - it has to be this way when you play a 4-2-3-1, id be surprised if Pienaar and Billy havnt added to our ratio this season, yet Cahilll and Fellaini havent scored as much as last season.

Both those ratios are higher than Jo's goals/game this season, what a JOke that guy is.

Didn't Moyes say last season that he wanted to see someone shooting from distance more, Arteta perhaps?

Would be nice if one or the other chipped in with a goal every couple of games, but as others have said, they are attacking midfielders, not forwards, and therefore it is their assist statistics you should be looking at.

Inorder for long shots our midfield need to open up the play from the center which they don't do enouh...cutting in and curling into the far corner from the wings is something even Messi doesn't do too often, its pretty hard and our unpacy wingers just can't do that.. Arteta's too busy making plays and passing that he's not always bothered to shhot from long range..i expect rodwell to do that part vey soon or even Fellaini of late has got his shooting boots on
