Maybe a loan option with a 1st choice buy option (and a low number) would be OK.

From what I'm hearing Valencia is going to Real Madrid. I havent heard of any Valencia to Utd rumors for over a year now.

According to the Spanish press, Ribery is going to Madrid and they are still interested in Ronaldo too. Can't see how Valencia would fit in there. Having said that, the Spanish press is full of [Poor language removed]

As for Nani, I'd defo take a loan if it were an option.

It'd be an interesting barometer of how close to United we're getting. I doubt Ferguson would help out a team that is getting too close to them, whereas in the past he's probably felt we're far enough away.

He does have talent, he's got more skill and naturally ability than the majority of our squad. His main problem is his decision making, he makes alot of bad decisions and his end product is very hit and miss.

A lot of young wingers have this problem though, especially quick wingers. Playing week in week out would without doubt help him. People forget that every once and a while he comes into the Manchester Utd side and is expected to produce. It’s not always that easy.

I’d without doubt take him, he’s a rough diamond and someone who could do well under David Moyes and Steve Round. Not for 12 million though, that’s too expensive. A loan would be great.

I agree with you 100% except that he is too expensive. Maybe he is expensive for us but 12 million for a player as talented as him is cheap in todays market. Also like you said all he needs it's experience and a good run of game to get in good form, just like Lescott, Baines, Arteta, Pienaar, Jagielka, and even Howard needed a good run of game.

I'm a big man utd fan, because honestly the reason I started to watch football was Ronaldo, altough I hate his diving and arrogance, but the truth is he is the best player in the world, with messi making a strong case, and if Nani turns into half the player Ronaldo is he will be a very good player. Besides arrogance is overrated, sometimes you got to be confident in youself and let people know you are confident, aslong
as a player plays hard, and helps the club win thats all that matters.

Also I've watch Nani play and honestly I havent seen any sign of arrogance in him. All I've seen is player trying hard to make a good impression or a big play in his limited opportunities.

Realistically he is our best option, altough I'm having second thoughts on how realistic he is for us as Sir Alex is not known for giving up that easily on young talented players.

I'd go for him on loan as it would allow Moyes a close view before committing that amount for purchase.

That's good because Valencia will fit nicely here on the right. Alls it will take is 20M KenwrightBucks (y)

We certainly need someone on the right of midfield, although I haven't watched Nani enough to know if he good enough.
I doubt we could afford him anyway, and SAF isn't in the habit of letting potential worldbeaters go.

Weren't there rumours that Nani on loan was a done deal about a month ago? Seems like a horrid cheating [Poor language removed] whenever I've seen him. I wouldn't be best pleased to see him play for us.

Horrid, cheating bastards are the way forward.

Agreed - many of my non-Evertonian mates have about as much to say about how Cahill goes about his thing (more to do with sly digs, elbows and generally winding up opponents rather than diving about though!)...

Sometimes a 'win at all costs' attitude is what's needed to push a team over the line.

Even Moyes wouldn't be able to control him. Not suited to our culture and would much rather the cash going to keeping/gaining youngsters.

There are some rumors that Man Utd might be willing to part with Nani as they are looking to sign Antonio Valencia from Wigan.

If thats true then we should really try to sign him. He was bought for 14-17 pounds so 12 should be enough, but because we wont have so much money mabey we should try to get him on loan as we have a very good relationship with man utd.

Nani has as much potential as any winger out there and under Moyes he could become one of the best wingers in England.

what do you say ???

Don't rate him and never have to be honest, think there are better players out there, that would cost less and perform better.

Wasn't this beauty of Dunc's play? Getting in their with the odd sly dig ( Wonchope almost being decapitated at the Gladwys Street end v Fulham was a sight to behold) ruffling feathers and being a nuiscence.

Along with a creative back up midfielder to play along side Arteta, which is a must for next season. We also need the old 'dogs of war' spirit rekindled- A real "get in amongst them" player. Mauro tries, but his outcome is more clumsy and down to bad timing, we need another hard hitting ball winner. For too long, since Carsley's departure , we've missed a hard tackling - in ya face body in the mid-field.

Nani on loan would provide the flair we'd need and on a strictly selfish angle for Nanai a spell out of the Manchester United first team would provide the catalyst his own carreer would need to prove a point to Ferguson. So his coming here would be beneficial for us both in a round-a-bout way.

:unsure::unsure:

Nani on loan perhaps. But not on a permanent transfer until he has proven he can play the type of game that suits Everton. But I wouldn't be too hyped if we signed him to be honest.
