I wanted them to have fairly normal names, cos growing up not many people had my name.

i dont know anyone personally with my name, i worked with someone once and we both found it weird to address each other by name.

When I was about 9 or 10, two of my sister's friends were called Carmen and Caroline (sisters). Stunningly beautiful to my young eyes, I've liked the names ever since. So my little girl is Caroline. My little boy is Joe like my dad.

Carmen (still)

Rachel (like my niece)

stick to real names or you'll end up with a dweezle or moonbase. also attempting to create an image of grandieur by using bizarre z-list celebs kids names, or pretending theres a double barrel surname, is all very sad and the sort of thing a certain kind of person does. i even know someone who combines her kids middle name and surname to pretend it's a double barrel.

false hair, false nails, false personality
appears to everyone to have everything but in reality has feck all
