He's right to be fair mate. Limited footballer who hasn't improved since United. He just seems a better player because we have lower expectations than the United fans. He cant drop deep and show particularly well, and his cross-field passes quite often go amiss. At Everton that's fine because we're used to Neville, Heitinga et al misplacing passes lefgt right and centre; But when your competition is Paul Scholes, you deficiencies get shown up pretty quick in that position.

Opinion?

I don't rate the guy at all. Gives the ball away far too often, rarely gets forward, just doesn't seem to do anything for me. Seems to make up the numbers.

If fellaini goes our midfield looks weak at most. Osman past his peak, pienaar not the player he once was, ageing. Not many other options mirales decent, Naismith useless. Think we need to target 2 players very least in midfield. Hopefully ross can come on this season

You're still picking up berries in the spring time aren't you.

No chance mate, his game is completely different to that he had at utd. At utd he was all about picking it up and getting shots off. Everton under Moyes was breaking up play and getting his full backs forward, mainly Coleman. I personally think he's been excellent since signing

He gave away so many passes towards end of the season. Rarely got forward and didn't see much of him defensively either. There was a reason united let him go remember. If we want to compete with sides like that we need to be more ambitious than signing their rejects. He does a average job and i just don't see him as a player who can take us to the next level

Yes towards the end of the season, due to lack of players, he was playing with an injury that need rest and then as a consequence an operation.

Oh my god just go away you filthy WUM's.

Lads when its as obvious as this dont give them the satisfaction of even replying. Join date July 13- early thread. 'I dont rate Gibson'

Yeah, this thread has been rightly closed but I couldn't resist in saying that this post is a contender for one of the most idiotic posts I've ever seen on here.

"If we want to compete with sides, we need to be more ambitious than signing their rejects."

Sure, no problem. Instead of signing Gibson, we should have just gone out and spent 20M on Nigel De Jong and another 15M on Xabi Alonso just to back him, you know, just in case.

You ****wit.
