Gibbo red card overturned.

I think we're just going to have to accept that Gibson is never going to have a regular place in our team because of his injury proneness. shame

Yes, this could have been why he couldnt get in the Man u side cos of his injuries cos it not of his lack of ability, this guy is class but seems to be made of tissue.

Its a git if he's injured but at least with the red being overturned it doesn't go on his record so if he does get a red at any point he wont't get an extra game ban on top.

Did he really injure himself taking a free kick?

Looked that way. I've done my groin in doing the same, think it's just the stretching of the muscle really quickly coinciding with the impact of the ball. He was feeling it straight after the free kick and then turned to track back and was going at Adam pace with an Adam grimace.

Pitch was saturated as well, one little slip will strain a muscle. Having said that, I still don't think he's in top shape.

This is great news and all but it really frustrates me how the FA statement says nothing about the referee.
I think everyone agrees that the refs have a seriously difficult job to do, but his performance was atrocious? So the players are free to play again- I'm sure the West Ham fans are super glad about that considering how he ruined the game for them.
As for me, with us having had as many terrible decisions go our way this season it would have been nice in such a clear cut case for the authorities to indicate that they do something about it- even a simple acknowledgement that the ref's performance was poor and he's been spoken to.

He will be out for longer than what the ban would have been anyway, he injured himself in the same way at WBA (Kicking the ball) and the same against Wigan with that free-kick on about 42 he was struggling straight away

Taylor, who will not face any disciplinary action for the mistakes, is set to return in Sunday's live TV match between QPR and Liverpool.

And why is that? Utterly no responsibility on the refs for crap decisions.

The belter should be relegated to the Championship at best.

"Respect" indeed. I'll respect the idiots when they actually earn it.
