getting behind Fellaini.

He'll be a good player, but just a good player imo.

Nothing world class about him.

Probably, I do see what you mean.

The main thing about him is whether he's playing well or not he's always a handful. He's akward to play against becauase of his style and sheer height. He's different to alot of midfielders in the Prem and he'll be useful to us.

World class is a little to far for me, he simply isn't a good enough footballer technically. He's tidy on the ball and capable but he doesn't have the control, passing ability or drive to boss a game.

His lack of mobility is also an issue. He'll be a good player but not a world class one. So says my Football manager editor anyway.

I like Fellaini, there's a lot more to come from him and the best is yet to come, but not unless he adds an extra dimension to his game.He sometimes appears single paced and therefore appears flat footed at times, he needs to inject a bit of pace into his game or he'll soon find himself relatively easily man marked out of games and his potential influence will rapidly deteriate into the ether.

He is brimming with potential, whether that potential is ever fulfilled is up to him and his willingness to listen and learn.

He could be Injured for monday. Groin strain.

Cal you bitch, he grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - ate!!

he should sit with us all behind the goal if he is.

Marouane Fellaini has been impressed by the sense of togetherness he has witnessed at Everton.

The Belgian midfielder has settled in quickly since his September move, despite speaking little English when he arrived.

Like his English, his performances on the pitch have improved notably and he puts it down to the support he has received from his team-mates.

The 21-year-old was left downhearted by Sunday's defeat to Aston Villa but cited it as an example of Everton's all-for-one attitude.

"For me, my own performance is not as important as the performance of the team," he told evertonTV. "It's all about winning together and losing together. Times are tough in terms of injuries but again it's about working hard together and trying to move forward.

"As you can imagine, everyone was really disappointed and feeling down because we fought all the way through to come back twice [against Villa]. To then give it away in the last few seconds having just scored ourselves was terrible.

"I think the first one you can't really point fingers anywhere. It was a good passage of play, a good move and you can't stop that. Things like that happen. The one in the last few seconds, that hurts more. We weren't in position, we weren't organised and it was our fault."

Despite the setback, Fellaini is backing the Blues to bounce back against Manchester City on Saturday.

A summer takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group - and the purchase of Brazilian star Robinho - had many tipping the Eastlands outfit to challenge for Europe this season. But, going into the weekend's Premier League clash, David Moyes' side find themselves eighth, six places ahead of their hosts.

"We've got to lift our heads up, fight hard for the next game and be ready," declared Fellaini. "We've proved ourselves against good teams in the past. We'll see next week. We'll certainly go there with the aim of getting a good result."

"I'm getting loads of support", he said, adding "theres this guy on an internet forum who is urging everyone to give me some love, and it's true because i miss my mum, she even helps me put my socks on as my feet are so far away, this guy Reidy though, i don't know who he is but when i take the european player of the year award in a couple of seasons i hope i will have found out who he is and get him to pick it up for me, so much is my debt to him". He isn't impressed by all of the fans though and before leaving he said "there's this other "fan" called Cal, he sounds like a right ******** and i just want to give him a twatting".

I was at the game and then watched it later, sad person, yeah, I know.
Screech played well IMHO, he barely put a foot wrong. There was plenty of applause when he made a good pass etc so I think most people are warming to him.
It's not his fault that he's got that price tag around his neck and that will always be in some people's minds so I doubt whether their opinions will change.

It's like a rewind to Mannygate. No matter how well he played, he would always be the player that left us for Valencia blah blah and some people could never see past that.
For me, Manny was the real deal and it makes me weep when I see Mikel's corners and deliveries into the box compared to Manny's when Mikel was out at the end of last season.

Anyway, please guys, Fellaini is now a Blue so let's just get behind him and help him settle in.
As for chanting his name etc, not a bloody chance, we can just about manage Everton, Everton, Everton at the moment. The place is like a chapel (without the hymns) these days.
It's no wonder the players are nervous at Goodison.:(
Its not just the players that are nervous at Goodison this season.as for Fellani I think he is doing alright the ref on Sunday was biased against him.please remember he never set the price the clubs did all he can do is his best and for once Reidy is spot on.
