I'm neither pro or anti royal, not arsed about them in anyway but people will always exercise the supposed 'free speech' we have in this country and some will do that by booing the national anthem.

I personally don't have problem with keeping quiet for a couple of minutes, even if it's for something I have no interest in.

It's the city of Liverpool. WTF else were people expecting when that was rolled out on an unwilling match day crowd? It got what it deserved. I heard very few boos during the silence - 3 or 4 only.
Heard almost nobody singing the national anthem but heard no boos.
Heard no boos at all or singing of Everton songs during the 70th minute.

Same here. Only heard a couple of boos. As you say, more noise from people telling them to hush. No more than at the RS pit the other night. Just got in, bang on SSN and first thing they are going on about is our fans ha ha
