You can also see Lukaku, Osman, Barkley, Coleman etc etc.... yelling at Deulofeu for not releasing the ball early on a number of occasions.

The occasions I am referring to outnumber the ones you are...Plus, this is the result of being reliant on a player who can consistently beat their marker - sometimes he will cut the ball back for those yelling for it and other times he will put the cross in for an onrushing attacker...The key, of course, is to not just stand around

He probably should mate. But you can understand why he didn't.

No I can't.

Romelu has a pretty high opinion of his abilities and if he wants to be as good as he aspires to be he needs to be making himself available for the cross at all times.

I mean, Gerald played exactly the same way at the Barcodes the other night and then suddenly decided to try another trick when he cut in and the blg lad was Johnny On The Spot to slot it home at the near post :)

But look, we are splitting hairs....they are two great young lids and we are privilieged to have their services even if only for a season.

I wouldn't say that yours outnumber mine at all. In fact i'm certain of it.

Look, i'm his biggest fan but if you fail to notice the flaws in his game then there really is no point talking about him mate.

He's not perfect by a long chalk, but at his age it's fully understandable.

Very much agree on the last point. Really hope we have one or both next year too.

Yeah, I guess you'll have to just dig up my claims of his perfection

If you have to result to posts like that then there really is no point.

What's the point of claiming he's not perfect or that he's young etc.?...Who isn't young or still developing in the squad?....It's a pointless claim that isn't relevant to the discussion

If you have to resort to posts about me claiming I don't see Gerry's flaws (Which again, try some evidence next time instead of conjecture) to attempt to avoid conceding a point, I agree then that there really is no point

Its not a claim that he's young or not perfect, its a statement of fact ffs. He clearly has areas of which to work on and has a mixed bag of quality in the final third.

Again, what's the point?...Was it a response to the discussion or a counter point to a claim I made?...No, it was irrelevant because no one is denying he's young, not prefect, developing etc....It's an illogical response to the discussion that was ongoing

Pipe down lad and go and stick your ball and chain in a piping hot pastie.
A discussion requires 2 people to be discussing something, not someone shouting down others opinions.
