That would be a shame.

Should that happen, the vaults won't be as easy to remember. Some of the crying in this thread has been superb, like any of us know more than Koeman and his team LOL.

Does that mean Koeman will always be right over every player he signs and decides to let go?

Managers make mistakes, even the best ones. Doesn't mean every person on here knows better than them but it doesn't mean Koeman is always right just because he's an ex player and has coaching badges.

Mourinho wasn't even a player and yet he's arguably the best manager in the world going on his record. If you want to blindly believe every decision a manager makes is right, just because he's an ex player go ahead. I guess that means you thought Martinez knew better than all the fans who saw what was going wrong on the pitch too.

i'd give him one more season tbh. we have enough business to do without having to worry about signing another winger as well. Hopefully we'll buy 3 or 4 creative players and i'd see if he thrives in an environment like that, as people have said, could be a very special weapon in europe and hopefully can actually do a job off the bench in the league.

If he can sort his work rate and fitness he could be one of the best players in the league.

Koeman is the perfect manager to get that out of him. I think Del needs to trust him.

May have to file him with Barkley as another player who doesn't like Koeman much

Maybe so. They don't seem to see eye to eye.

For me though I don't think it's that Koeman and Barkley don't get on. I'm sure Barkley appreciates that he's improved as a player thanks to Koeman's advice.

In Barkley's case I think it's that he wants to play for England and doesn't feel he'll get the fair chances without CL football.

It's all guess work.

But it's just odd that a boyhood blue and another young starlet wanna jump ship after 1 season under him. No matter how much he'd improve them.

Not too fussed as I think both players will have plenty of suitors at a good level. Just leaves us back to the drawing board.
