We were 7th in the table when he got hurt, same as now, so I don't think we've been significantly better or worse without him.

We had won 1 game in 7 prior to his injury. We weren't just 7th, we had dropped to 7th. Our performances and results improved directly after his injury including 9 games without a single loss.

Oh and what's the point in beating a man if the cross afterwards is awful? I'd sooner him not beat his man and put a good cross in.

But it's a ridiculous proposition to suggest that Martinez had him on loan for a season, then he was taken back by his club, then he pursued him a second time and signed him but this is a sign that Martinez didn't want or rate him.
