We were 7th in the table when he got hurt, same as now, so I don't think we've been significantly better or worse without him.

We had won 1 game in 7 prior to his injury. We weren't just 7th, we had dropped to 7th. Our performances and results improved directly after his injury including 9 games without a single loss.

Oh and what's the point in beating a man if the cross afterwards is awful? I'd sooner him not beat his man and put a good cross in.

So there's no possibility Martinez could have been wrong about Geri
Maybe he only seen his strengths of which he had a few and was blind to his weaknesses , it happens
I dont care what managers think, tbh. I go by my own judgement on players. But it's a ridiculous proposition to suggest that Martinez had him on loan for a season, then he was taken back by his club, then he pursued him a second time and signed him but this is a sign that Martinez didn't want or rate him.

You'd care what managers think yet you're praising one and vilifying the others because it fits your agenda hmm.

Of course he wanted him and he wanted Lukaku
I said the 2 managers that didn't rate Geri were the Barca manager that sold him and Koeman
It's obvious Martinez him and he could have been right and he could have been wrong.
He was right about MCCarthy , Lukaku and maybe Bescic
He was wrong on Kone Naisse Alcatraz Lennon etc
Jury out on Robles
All managers get it right sometimes and all managers get it wrong sometimes
Even Fergie signed some absolute dross in his time.
All I'm saying is Martinez could have been wrong on Geri

4 Managers.

Luis Enrique
Roberto Martinez
Unai Emery
Ronald Koeman

They all dropped or sold him.

All 4 of them are wrong tho, right?

So was Luther Blissett. Not long after leaving the San Siro he was playing against Stalybridge Celtic at Bower Fold on a wet Thursday night for Dagenham and Redbridge. Watch out for Del at Burscough sometime soon.
Barcelona
Everton
Seville
Everton (again)
AC Milan
Spanish national XI

...I really dont think Burscough are going to be meeting Deulofeu anytime soon.
