don't get me wrong Geri has the potential to be great in the Italian league and i'd love nothing more for him to come back next season and be the player we all hoped he'd be but Barcelona, Seville, two different managers with us, both with very different approaches have all failed to get any consistency out of him.

I love Gerri. All the talent in the world. Just poor application of that talent.

But, we wanted ruthless. We've got it. He hasn't set the world-alight and he's been moved on. Fingers crossed it works out.

DO we think we'll actually be looking for a replacement? The guy doesn't even make the bench as it is. With this 3-5-2 setup I am not sure we really need a replacement. Mirallas, Lennon and Lookman all as options for supporting Rom.

Surely a backup for Rom is more pressing?
