Modern times may have some influence on koemans decision to loan Geri or even sell. You only need to look at The top 3 of Chelsea, spurs and the other lot to see they play with no real out and out wingers. (Besides maybe Moses)

They play with wing backs and this is why we also see mirrallas Playing more centrally.

Im kind of disappointed that Koeman has loaned out Deulofeu. On his day Geri is a match winner for us but Koeman just didn't take to him.Im disappointed with our transfer activity so far.Sure we signed a promising player in Lookman and we bought in Schneiderlin from Man United but overall it's been pretty underwhelming.Hopefully that will change over the course of the next few days.

What did you expect, honestly mate, anyone else done better this January?

Moses plays fullback

Disappointed, thought he would have been the break out player under koeman but went the opposite way, he's had one proper spell about 2 seasons back when he was on fire for about 4/5 games (in a more central role) but in fairness to koeman, nothing since, so understandable but still disappointing..

the more this drags on the less chance we have of replacing him. he's going to go on deadline day for the same deal thats been on the table for the last 2 weeks and we will be left with no time to bring anyone in.

Everton THAT

We don't need a replacement, didn't even make the bench last week, we all ready have enough players in the squad to cover him going. It's not like we have a back log of cup games to play and are neck and neck for 4th.
Koeman has made it clear he isn't in our plans, no need to replace a player like that.
