Gerard Deulofeu

I think Pep is in huge trouble.

He spent time in Spain and Germany basically driving the fastest car round the track.

Now with 6 cars all more or less of equal pace we see he is in fact no faster at the wheel than the rest. The shine is wearing off very quickly. It would not surprise me if he wasn't there next year with a way out found for both club and manager to keep reputations intact.

I was bemused by Pep's huge reputation as a manager considering all he'd done is exactly what you'd expect him to do at arguably the two biggest clubs in the world. Strongly felt he'd struggle when he had a few rivals and it's proving so, glad really as he's been painted unjustly as some sort of footballing messiah to this point. Klopp is a far better manager and that was evident from his time at Dortmund alone.

And that Del is overrated too, bin him off and buy new players, not arsed about waiting for players to come good anymore (except Ross).

I'm disappointed that it's not worked out for GD but there has to be more in it when two managers don't fancy you. Loads of talent so it must be either his inconsistency (but it can't be because others who are inconsistent still play regularly), lack of work-rate (but then Rom plays every game) or poor attitude. I'm guessing the latter?

Hope he goes on loan, proves himself and comes back a better player. Not holding my breath though.

Tis a mystery. But for a 22 year old whos nowhere near the finished article to be binned off is just mind blowing to me.

When you see how many assists hes made in a short period of time and compare it to Bolasie for eg in the league over a longer period...giving up on him is an odd decision.

There is more deadwood probably older and on more money that needs shipping out than Del!

I agree Joey, but it seems that there is genuine interest in Del and he may want to leave.

And given his lack of notable contributions in the last 12 months, I'm not going to be devastated about it tbh.

Have no idea either. In my opinion he offers more than Lennon, Mirallas and Valencia. Too early to tell on Bolasie but given time I think he'll be ok. I am sad to see him (Deulofeu) not given much game time and consequently being shipped out.

He just hasn't seem to have adjusted to the physicality of this league. He goes down far too easily and seems to dread contact. He is talented, but I don't think the BPL is for him.

Of all our players , and yes he has a few problems he is the less likely one I want to see sold or shipped out as for our new manager saying if he wants to go etc he should look at the brand of football he is serving up away from home, for Cleveley to get on the bench ahead of Geri is inviting a young player to want to go and play in a footballing side as hoof ball returns!

I was on here last night late. Taking on the usual suspects who were against Geri that's their prerogative as it's all about opinions - now Osman gone who can we put the boot in to - I fear!
Why do I ask is it our younger players like Ross, Geri - when older has been players like Barry, Gibson, Jags etc get off lightly , and are draining the club of more money ?

If Geri goes out on loan is it his choice or do we look at our new manager hand on heart , and really say we are happy with what's being served up as I have not seen 90 minutes of very good consistent football from him all season as yet?
