what about the five months in the second half of last season?

no goals, no assists, in an entire year. says enough

Martinez destoyed the whole team surely youre not putting all the blame on del ? The last 5 months was the worst performance of any Everton team

Of course I'm not.

But there is only one person to blame for Del's inefficiencies at the age of 23. Himself.

In the first 20 mins he bent in four great crosses no one in the box maybe the two defensive midfielders - he had a very good game was never subbed for a change?
Since then Cleverly bests him to a bench spot do not defend the ginger one!

Indeed.

Del's performance against Watford was second only to Stek at City as the best performance from an Everton player this season IMO.

His absence on the pitch since that game is further evidence that players like Del whom capture the Cavalier essence of Everton Football Club have no place among Ronald's Roundheads.

Or as Francis Rossi and the late, great Rick Parfitt once put it......"There ain't no room for a cultured cowboy in a town like New Orleans" :pint2:

I agree he isn`t benched for a laugh, he is benched because he is a skilful player, passionate about the club, and needs a good manager to bring out the best in him.
Koeman is incapable of doing this, so instead of exposing his lack of man management skills he has an old stalwart huffing and puffing his way through 90 minutes of hoofball so he can say "look how hard my team work" .......

Del is great hope he gets a chance to prove himself

He isnt great though.

He could be. Unless he sorts out his complete lack of stamina he never will be.

If he was a little more direct in his play, he'd get back to the form that saw him making those crosses for Lukaku. Instead, he seems more interested in stepovers, running into corners and throwing himself into the ground.

All I ever see about Ged is people saying he puts boss balls into the near post that nobody ever gets on the end of.

Maybe he should put them somewhere else? Seems pretty obvious to me...
