Are people really claiming he played better than Bolasie?.

Well certainly I am.

He looked more composed than Bolasie, his movement was better and the team's performance improved.

I think a blind man could see the improvement once Bolasie and, particularly, Cleverly went off.

Bolasie was awful IMO.

As he normally is.

Bolasie needs benched if he is fit for next week.

I love Del - the Del that was on form this time last year.

He can be brilliant, when he applys himself.

Today I thought he was sloppy and conceded possession way too many times. He got in half decent positions and wasted them.

I'm not saying Bolasie was good either - he was poor.

Should Del start the next game he needs to up his game.

It's not down to 'not getting a run'.

He should grasp his opportunities instead of flopping and flailing around and going over as soon as a defender gets near him.

All the potential in the world, but he's been crap lately, and was again this afternoon.

Not sure he looked composed at all, in fact I'd say the opposite was true.

He miss hit passes, couldn't beat the first man with his free kicks, ran into players with the ball.

Honestly can't see what you're seeing.

The improvement was happening before bolasie went off. United were getting edgy and our superior fitness was starting to show.

It certainly wasn't down to the introduction of the woefully unproductive spaniard.

Problem is Our tactics revolve around Bolasie and that's not good, at least Del contributes more to team play through the lines and his crossing is more intelligent in so much as he picks his head up and looks, it might not come off but he does look.

I agree with every word of that mate.

Bolasie in no way should be our creative outlet.

He's a luxury player to an extent given how hit and miss he is, but he does add that intensity and power to our forward line.

Del just frustrated the life out of me though. I genuinely got angry at his performance.

As I've said though, I hope he starts next week and proves me wrong.

Meh, he did alright yesterday

Think there's definitely a player in there, but he still has areas he needs to improve

Not the finished article, but I'm willing to give him time to get there

Did more to contribute in his first 10 minutes on the pitch than miralles did up to then.
Sparked everything up when he came on and although stuff didn't come off all the time you could see united weren't at all happy with his runs.
Different player to Bolasie and I like them both but for me delboy is not a starter but an impact player. Bolasie to start if fit and Del for the last half hour. Not sure why but del cannot last a half never mind a full game but he is willing to run at the opposition and it is a great thing to have in the locker late in a game.
