Always find it funny when someone who never made it, rips in to a Professional and makes out he "stole a living". It's an interesting observation. So you actually believe Hibbert is that bad, that he played well over 10 years for an established Premier League club after progressing through the Youth System for all those years too?

So the scouts, academy coaches, Smith, Moyes and Martinez all got it wrong, and you know more than all of them?

Hibbert bashing seems to be a popular internet craze. A bizzare one.

Spot on, its like they think a player can completely fluke his way to this level.

Its clear they have no understanding of what it takes to even get scouted, and then get a contract, and make it past the levels and levels of coaches etc, its pure delusion.

And I always find it funny when a nerd on the internet calls out another poster with the old "he's better than you" argument.

Of course he is, that doesn't make him a good footballer though. Karl Henry is better than me ffs.

Next.

Karl Henry may not be a top top player, but he is a professional footballer, so is clearly a good player.

He could go in goal is the manager wants him to. Doesn't mean it's a good idea! I'd have him learning his craft behind mcgeady!

I trust my point is clear.

The funny thing is, didn't Hibbert start out as a centre midfielder? That's the worrying part! lol He made it to the level he needed to be playing as a centre midfielder when we all know how limited he is on the ball.

I don't mind people saying Hibbert has his limitations because he does. But he's been a good player down the years, and shouldn't be this figure of fun that people on these forums and social media make him out to be.

How come we appear to have a high hamstring related injury percentage ? Surely this is down to training methodologies and more so the medical staff ?
